Its hilarious, I win constantly then as soon as I break 1600 I have losing streaks caused by intentional feeders, leavers, and discons. This has happened 3 times already since I've unquit the game.

yeah at first i wondered if i was actually just really bad when this happened

I have been trying to determine how good Rod of Ages is on Karthus, My core is always Sorc shoes/Tear of the Goddess/ Void Staff.

But when I play other Karths, they pass up Tear and go for RoA, is it a matter of taste? Or is RoA superior to Tear.

if you can get your team to promise you blue buff, then tear isn't that necessary

absolutely funniest situation i've EVER seen in any game. one of those once in a lifetime kind of wins too. wish i used replays

So... I've decided to try giving this a chance. It took forever and a lot of convincing, but... well. Here I am, I guess. Hi? ^_^;

Mainly playing as Annie right now to get used to it all, and then planning to branch out to Sona. I've never really liked tanking, but there are still plenty of characters to try out.

Oh, and Tristana can be fun, too, but I won't try picking her up until I'm better.

you won a game 2v5?

game was 5v5 then one guy quit because i was yorick (he thinks yorick is autoloss) and on top of it, i must be terrible because i picked revive and did the revive mastery thing(suicide vs neutrals then revive and tp to lane) to get 400 HP to dominate lvls 1-3 in lane. so that guy left.

then we lost a team fight about 10 minutes in, and annie left.

then the TF quit because it was 3v5

and me and my lanemate zil won at 19 minutes when i rushed a guardian angel after manamune and merc treads. we were going to surrender at 20, but i asked to see if i could try an eternal yorick idea (for fun since the game was no chance for winning). and the idea worked (mostly because they were terrible players) surprisingly, and we pushed all the way to nexus off my and zil's lane (which we pushed back to inhib turrets pretty fast with our lane dominance). So yeah i won 2v5, in the most fun i've ever had in this game. too bad it was vs awful players or it would have MEANT something. but seriously coming back to life 4 times in 1 fight is pretty fun.

imo you're more likely to lose your lane if you dont get some sort of survivability before the tear and sorcs. I'd get a catalyst first and try out an anivia build (catalyst+tear, then AP & a veil when it's appropriate.) If that dont work because you're still too squishy, or you can't drag the game out long enough for catalyst+tear worth it or something then maybe rush a rod of ages and then tear and see how that owrks.

I'm only level 13 now so it's totally fine if anyone doesn't want to play with me (lol not that I've even been trying), but I just thought it'd be nice to actually introduce myself on the boards here.

I bought the game so have a few champions...some of which I have yet to use.

Thats kinda awesome, I played Annie and sona til i was lvl 30 pretty much exclusively

I honestly don't know what build is best for LeBlanc yet. Is RoA any good on her? I'm also hearing mixed messages about Mejai's. Some are saying it should be core, and some are saying it should be totally avoided.

Mind helping someone new to LeBlanc a little? :x

anyway, about the Karthus thing, I normally see kartus go AA staff over RoA d/t the fact that karthus's passive encourages a more glass-cannon like build. probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get SOME survivability though for the early gae at the very least . . . dunno what you'd grabif not a full RoA though bwcause it takes a WHILE for the health portion of Rylai's . . . suppose you could maybe go Haunting Guise . . . iunno.

true. Though there are plenty of mages who are BETTER candidates for it than others:

Kassadin and Vlad are quite hard to lock down and kill

Lux's range is so huge she's normally safe too.

He is most certainly not OP. He is very weak early game, is very susceptible to hard CC and exhaust, and typically has to go all in on teamfights. If your team doesn't have adequate CC or initiation, then he is mediocre at best.
