who even cares about fiora? even though all your opinions on w max are wrong its not like maxing the better skills will change the fact that all you can do is rampantly feed with her
What would you max with her?

Curious because I wanna play Fiora but I'm hesitant with melee carries in ranked.

I can't think of any champs that Nunu outscales.
heh?

Bloodboil your adc, snowball the opposing adc (and having the gold to do that consistently is why you give nunu a lane), congrats you've now had more influence on lategame teamfights then the vast majority of characters that lane toplane.

Of course, the fact that his scaling is dependent on another lane doing well which is not a plus for solo queue but at least he's good at dealing with tower dives, also has one of the best peeling abilities in the game as an ult to keep his adc safe.

I personally max her Parry, since the rest of Fiora's kit does scale with AD and her Parry is the only way she can mitigate damage.

EDIT: Or you can max Q and go in hard. lol

Nunu doesn't scale well unless for some strange reason you are so inept that you can't stop his ult.
Picking Nunu top lane is basically saying that you are trying to completely shut down the opposing top laner, and abuse his objective control which is easily among the best in the game. Great at taking towers with your adc, and insanely good buff/dragon/baron control. So rather then let the game be decided by large team fights, you just try to control the map and take objectives. As somebody who is very effective even with relatively few items, he can easily keep the map lit up, and go where he pleases because W and E allow him to escape most things.
But scale into lategame and destroy in fights? Nah. Sure, he's a great bodyguard for your AD with his ability to buff and peel, but that won't do you much if your AD is behind.

Ya, when a single extra AA from an adc does more damage then a bruiser blowing all his cooldowns, giving the adc that extra attack is better scaling. When you make the enemy adc lose that too, well...

Ya, bruisers are generally the weakest scaling artype into lategame, unless they can jump on the enemy adc and kill them or have some gigantic CC in their kit then the reason they exist is really that they're just really strong bullies in laning phase and their base damage carries them through midgame.

Lane nunu's advantage is that supports generally scale really well into lategame even without much in the way of items in addition to the fact he's also a gigantic lane bully. Plus it gets him the option to apply a gigantic damage debuff on the enemy adc if he lanes.

Now singed specifically is a tank so his scaling isn't as weak, but damage outscales defense by a significant margin, when an adc gets sufficient items even singed won't last long. Combine that with the fact that his hard cc is less then melee ranged and ya I can safely say that for most toplaners it comes down to WHEN nunu outscales them, not if.

idk, Fiora isn't really that bad if you take her mid against certain matchups and have a tanky top and/or jungler. Like I said, if you get sufficient items and ult their carry you can take them out of the fight more easily than a lot of mids.

Also having entire neighborhood lose power for half a day (apparently because of nothing but lots of rain) is a first for me :/

Best Nunu build is IE, Deathcap, Gunblade, Triforce, Raundiun's because you scale with every single stat in the game

It doesn't block the whole ult anymore. I remember it used to do that, so I tried it last night and it just blocks the first hit.

The 25% damage reduction still applies though, lololol

but yeah, fiora vs fiora, the person who approaches loses

I kept approaching

because Im ********

it's ok though, we won even though I was feeding

Played AP Pantheon.
The fact that you can activate DFG mid ult and tag them before your jump lands is extremely delightful.
AP Pantheon... laughably bad but laughably fun.

So does Galio do okay vs. Shen top or something?
I just picked Galio randomly just to see how top lane could be, and it wasn't terrible, to be honest. Granted my team won their lanes, I never really got stressed about Shen's pushing power when I could just Q>E a wave back at him.

Iunno. I just expected it to be a crappy experience against someone as obnoxious and annoying as Shen, and I'm honestly just surprised by how well it went.

It also helped that he hyper focused on laning vs. me with Spirit Visage and Mercury Treads when we had a Draven who was getting fed bot lane. Item traps are fun.

Gold is basically the new Bronze.
Plat feels like silver or goldish, then diamond has Plat level players that play for fun as if it was bronze.
Challenger seems to be the only deal where some top players actually find it important to be higher, so Challenger new Diamond?

While there is some inflation, the majority of this perception comes from your own skill increases, things that you wouldn't comment on before become idiotic because you're better at the game and have higher expectations of people in higher divisions. Not to mention you notice mistakes that you wouldn't before.

I notice this cause I've been playing smurfs the past year (or 11 months?) for Medieval Twitch.
