Fox appeared to be auto-released due to the catapult earlier. Perhaps the catapult's earlier knockback affected DK's next grab (the one with ridiculous properties).

The catapult doesn't give damage. The bombs, Pirate Ship's only damaging hazards, deal 55%.

I have a theory on what happened D0N. I notice something similar happens with big characters. When They get grabbed or grab on slopes they usually break out. This usually happens after a Pummel or a move with Knockback. So if my theory is correct. Due to you grabbing Fox out of his f-smash while you where on a slope the knockback transfered to him killing him. Again this is just a theory I've seen vids where if a d3 got grabbed on a slope and someone pummeled him he would break out and take little knockback.

I'd love to go, and luckily, I just might be able to as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, I can only go with my dad. :l I can't carpool with anyone else that my mom/dad hasn't met.
