I like Yamazaki, only because he's freakin' psychotic, and his laugh is funny. For some reason, I think he's really cool in Capcom vs. SNK... probably the coolest in that game. XD

I also love how he is psychotic.

I got 9th/29 at a tournament yesterday. Alright I guess, though didn't do anything spectacular. I took a game off of Hunger's Wario, and I also almost did a combo in doubles that was about as close to a Wombo Combo as Brawl can get, but Ganon is very slow so I missed the Fair
I recorded pretty much all of my matches--I'll upload them when I have free time.

9th out of 29, eh? I'd say that isn't bad, in my opinion. I hope to rank in the top 20 for my first tournament.

9th actually isn't great for me, I've been placing 5th or 7th at locals lately. I should have gotten 7th at this one, but I lost to Kennispam's pocket MK on last hit, game 3 lol. I appreciate the compliment though

Ugh. Pocket MK, eh? Goes to show that Meta Knight really is that "deus ex machina" in competitive Brawl. Blah! Still, I'd like to think 9th is good. XD9th actually isn't great for me, I've been placing 5th or 7th at locals lately. I should have gotten 7th at this one, but I lost to Kennispam's pocket MK on last hit, game 3 lol. Eh woulda coulda shoulda IMO. CPing SV was a tough choice, and I got the matchup I wanted, but I made one or two brutal input errors that cost me the game. I can't let that **** happen in that matchup haha, Ganon's gotta be spot on with his punishes. GGs though for sure.

It isn't surprising, unfortunately. The good news is that it appears to be an improvement over his "25-75" that's currently up on smashwiki. I guess we're just finding more ways to improve his metagame one baby step at a time. Will he ever increase in rank? Probably not, but we are improving nonetheless.

I guess that's about right. Isn't that in the area of what most people consider a hard counter? If so, Ganon is hard-countered by the cast of Brawl, which makes victory ever-so-sweet.
Not that this has to be done, but I wonder what these MU's will look like in a year? ie, if someone were to do this project again in a year, what would change, if anything? It's a pretty cool to think about.

If we just put "hopeless <30/70" it would probably be better though, we have so many bad MUs that some are more ***** than others MU ratios than other bad won't help us much.

Lol so saying "30-70 is a neutral for Ganon" is actually an accurate statement.

While it doesn't have the initial start up that I'd prefer, I do like the move itself.

It's all about mindgames. Easiest way to punish is to get in close, shield the ball, and attack. But if the Ganon sees it coming, he can stop holding B and get a free shield-ignoring 666 damage.
...also, it's still in development, so it's not entirely finished yet. We just figured that, since we have the move's pacing and juggling coded finally, we'd give an update to the world.
