What I'm asking is what characters are giving you the most trouble?

Most characters give me a lot of trouble recovering, except extremely few exceptions like Bowser. Recovering early to land onstage doesn't always help, very often it is too far to do that, and that's why edge hogs have killed me after getting hit just once offstage or even not at all. So what can I do, not waste my jump too early? Also, how can I gimp Ikes? When they recover low I try to hit them with an aerial but instead they can edge hog or spike with Aether my me getting myself gimped.

That's exactly what you're supposed to do. Ganon can't afford to squander his double jump--I pretty much never get gimped due to lack of a double jump anymore.

Also, many players will underestimate how low Ganon can actually go and still be able to make it back to the ledge. Practice pushing Ganon's vertical recovery to the limit so that they whiff their moves above you when they try to gimp you. Don't recover low every single time though, because it gets predictable.

Recovering low also helps avoiding being edgehogged obviously, since it gives you more time to let their invincibility frames run out. Also, if you're afraid that you're going to get edgehogged, start your up B early so that Ganon's fist reaches over the edge and onto the stage. This hitbox will often protect the ledge for you so that if they try to edgehog, they're going to get hit by the up B instead.

A lot of Ganons make the mistake of only using a tiny bit of the up B hitbox to protect the ledge... the best way to do it is use the entire hitbox to your advantage. If you do this correctly, you're usually going to hit them with your wrist/lower arm (the very bottom of the hitbox) if they try to edgehog.

Of course, this isn't guaranteed to work... Brawl's stupid ledgesnap range kinda screws Ganon over in terms of being edgehogged. Imagine Melee Ganon with Brawl Ganon's up B... that would almost eliminate the most ******** part of Melee Ganon's game (his recovery).

I've been busy registering for college courses, and realizing that I'm pretty much depending on my blood to pay for classes.

I'm at a similar point right now because no one offers scholarships to math majors until sophomore year of college, which really doesn't help me at all right now as an incoming freshman. The way our country sets us up to depend on college, but then forces us to pay it with our lives, is absolutely ********.

Noob's got the right idea with blood donations/plasma donations. Also, sperm banks if you're okay with that (and okay with being the genetic father of people you'll never meet). Um....get a job? Or you could wait until he dies. Or pick a good major (<3 math).

To me right now, Kalm and Verm are situated in a privileged, high rank position in what is currently not a totally-ordered set, of the lot of us Ganon players.

That is, a comparator relation exists between some, but not all, pairs of us, X,Y, such that X > Y or Y > X in terms of skill.

In particular, the relation of Verm to Kalm is unknown/undefined, even if we know that either of these guys is (probably) > Z, Z being any one of the rest of us.

(This is the notion of partial ordering. Partial ordering is when a set satisfies the minimal condition of, IF X >Y and Y >Z, then X >Z MUST, and things of that sort; but not every two elements can be compared)


This calls for a contest, of course.

Kalm's only been to like 2 tournaments and Verm doesn't travel outside of his region (or hasn't yet, at least).

I don't see any of these 3 players ever fighting each other lol.
