alright a friend of mine said that for the falco cg, they footstooled out after 2 dthrows. also pika can footstool out of his own cg at 0

hmm, when i was doing it to this falco last weekend he cousldnt escape, till i messed up(which i did everytime<.<)

Falco is easy, and it works at 0% for me in an actual match against a human player, i can do mks to 56 and havent tried many more....but...

all im doing is grabbing, im not sure how to time it, becuase if i grab too early then it shields, but too late... well yea.

so i hearda bout shield buffering, wtf is it?

If you accidentally shield I promise you 90% of the time its not that you did it too early, but that you held it too long. You need to literally tap grab then let go.

So, after going to BTYF....

SO MANY people are pickin up Pikachu because of the CGs. I saw a lot of players that were obviously new to the character..... I didn't know whether to be happy or angry, lol. And of the ones I talked to, most admitted they picked him up after seeing his CG shenanigans.

We had to leave the tourney early because our driver had to be somewhere this morning, but I wish I could have stayed to see how many Pikas actually got far. Kenny (K9) had a **** pool -- M2K -- and didn't make it out iirc, but I only saw him using Snake whenever I watched him. As long as my pool wasn't ridiculous like his, I probably would have made it to bracket.... dunno if Dublio did, and I didn't recognize Scissors Sir/Ron if he was there.

I just think it's funny that a handful of CGs is causing players to run to Pika like he's their savior against the top tiers.

Yeah, I'm gonna side with Bear and ESAM on this one. Once I got over my initial "RAWR, Pika is MINE!" reaction, I realized that if these people actually contribute, they can help Pika's game grow a lot faster. We still have so much to discover, imo.

It'll suck that more people will have Pika experience, but that's the price we pay.

Think of it this way: if they pick up Pika only for the CGs and don't learn the rest of his game, they'll just give people crappy Pika experience. Still good for us.

My friends and I discussed this at the tourney..... when you look at characters like MK & DDD, their games are basically done. There's not much more they can find. But I think Pikachu still has a lot of potential. He's probably one of the most (if not the most) versatile characters in the game.

The matchups are out of balance because of chaingrabbing... I even main a chaingrabber, but it makes matchups rely on silly camping and stuff. It's not right...
