Okay, cool, but why split like that? Furthermore, why make it public? If you're gonna do that ****, do it behind closed doors. Now you're going to have to deal with waves upon waves of butthurt.

I wish you weren't right.

But, the poll was still big, and aside from ROM the last few Melee Majors have been really solid. One bad event shouldn't spoil us, but I feel like a crack down on openly splitting and better ruleset communication should occur in the future.

Real talk, Silent Wolf is absolutely going to blow everybody's mind at apex the way he's been leveling up recently LOL. SW is noticeably better now than he was last month, and last month noticeably better than the month before that. I can't even really take games off him anymore, **** is unreal.

Yeah, KK is not guilty. I ****ed up bad. Even if you guys still hate me, let it be known that I truly apologize and will never let it happen again, if it ever comes up again. It was not for money or anything. It really was to just get m2k to stop *****ing!

Honest and true. I really really ****ed up. I even offered to the TOs to run back GFs and not split after it happened. But they said it was too late, just don't worry about it. I felt so bad and mad for many hours. Super stressed.

I also didn't think that the boards would blow up like this, and I apologized way before **** blew up.

I'm also not the first/only person to do this. But it was really bad.

I can't remember the last time I saw a fox do that well against m2k.
all five fox games were ridiculous.
Fun fact: Eggm took 4th, Chillin took 5th, foxes did work in singles and teams.
Good tournament

While the enthusiasm and fire is great, the pop off from europe sounds less legit when you remember that besides AR, they could all easily not make top 5 at a no johns with a reasonable turnout and nobody'd be that surprised.

I really have to agree with leffen. Not playing seriously in tournament when you got that far in bracket is lame and ruins the fun for over a thousand people watching the stream. =/

edit: also, fwiw, the real honest-to-god tragedy here is not that RoM finals were ruined or anything like that, but that this debacle made people forget about unknown's amazing almost-4-stock-comeback vs M2K's marth on FD. I was SO SURE he had it.

im moving to cali as soon as possible. ec is whack.

You can hate unknown as a personal matter and that's fine. But to discredit his skill as a player is simply undue.

No other fox in the world at the moment (except mango obvi) can compete with Hbox or M2k. everyone else who tries gets bodied

What happened at rom was terrible though.

I've even had horrific experiences with m2k over Facebook everywhere. Nothing good came out of this. Honestly. Except maybe hype later
