Dthrow is good by the ledge because you can just dash towards the center for roll in, and if they roll out then they are an Autobot and won't be able to roll past the ledge.

Yea I figured that and potentially for platform chases but I think earlier in the thread (like 20 pages ago) Cactuar was talking about using it for more situations (at least it seemed) and I'm wondering if he'd discuss what other ways he uses it.

D-throw sucks on platforms.

They can always DI off with no hitstun

Edit: unless you're on the edge of yoshi's side platforms cuz then you'll kill yourself.

Then again, meteor cancel ruins this all together. And various other things, but meh

I just use dthrow whenevet it feels right. It was super useful in pulling some massive control setups on swiftbass over the weekend. The matches were close enough that it made the difference.

I was way in the zone though, so not too sure how it looked from spectator/opponent pov. Would like swift's opinion on it before trying to break it down. Might have just worked because of how unexpected it was.

Also, daaaaaaaaaamn @ that lovage clip.

I'm pretty sure his up-smash is still stronger.

u-air is unchanged, but the reason it kills faster is because you usually combo in the air with hit, whereas up-smash can only be used on the ground

He knew you knew he knew. Did you know that?
If he knew I knew he'd known, he would've known not to post confirmation of his knowledge, which only serves to imply that I actually didn't know he knew. You must be knew here to knot know these things.

This isn't spam, it's a metaphor for Yomi.

Question -

Is Fox's upair actually stronger than his upsmash in PAL? Is his upair nerfed at all?
When playing NTSC after being used to PAL, a lot of the times you just think "damn uair so useless in this game, upsmash is x10 stronger" and then you go back to PAL "upsmash is useless" :awesome:

Fox's uair is the better combo move in many common situations in NTSC. For a bunch of reasons. U-tilt is similarly better than up smash in a ton of common situations (and for significant percent ranges).

waveshining ->usmash is definitely faster than jab->run->usmash
by the time jab ends you have already started your usmash with waveshine :o
people tend to roll after jabs tho LOL

even though they have a guaranteed shieldgrab/punish/escape after every jab >_>
