Club nintendo controllers are the best! ^x^ (and recognisable so you won't lose them (y))

I remember being quite fond of my black controller, but that one broke back in like 05/06.

how come I only ever see kels edgeguard with shinestall bair? Have I just seen none of the right foxes?
its something the chicago scene has started doing. I think everyone got it from Matt originally, but I think he got the idea from somewhere else. There was a period of time where he had some neutral position shine stall tricks, but I think hes moved on to double shine stuff.
pittsburgh foxes (me and Taki) have been doing it for a while.
SO HIPSTER yet SO SMOOTH
Why is it any better than ledgehop Bair given you have the time to grab the ledge? Wouldn't you rather have invincibility?
you can jump out farther, stall in the shine, and effectively cut off more options. Other than that, it looks cooler.
only Raynex would use it to recover!!!

I dont understand how you could not understand how a shine stall bair is an effective ledge guard...

I mean against Falcon, he's got the looping like recovery so where he's going is obvious, so if you can get out further(Especially if you could cut him off after a Falcon Kick) then why not?

One of the interesting places I saw kels do it was in a fox ditto. He forced the other fox to recover high (over the bair), then landed on stage and upsmashed him.

letting people back onstage when you know you can go to dunkin donuts them up with a combo that will send them offstage again (maybe in an even better spot for you) is a good strat

I don't do that enough. It's really just scary because one mistake and you've just given up that chance to get a free kill by a single good shine or something. Especially in tournament and being inexperienced, I always tend to choose the safer option even when I know it's dumb. It's even worse because that's the complete opposite of how I actually practice, which is always balls to the walls in an attempt to do the absolute best option regardless of practicality.
