i dont think dtilt is good vs falcon like that. a lot of the time he jumps over it. maybe not a lot, but enough to make it risky and not that great.

I said falcon's haha, not falco's. Sometimes, against falcon's nair, you can fish for waveland back dtilt or cc dtilt or just trade dtilt with falcon's nair. idk, I've done it in some tournament sets when I needed some clutch **** to pull out and I think it's pretty good.
yea I know you said falcon, that was a typo on my part.

But still, I'm not really picturing this. Dtilt has enough vertical range to disrupt Falcon's nair? I've never used it in the neutral range so idk

It's more like, throw it out when he's landing with the nair. You kinda have to bait an approach out and then react with it.

Dtilt works really well against pikachu. Iv'e tried it a bit last night and it can open up a shine turnaround bair around 75-85%.

CC that comes inherent in dtilt makes it better in some ways. Yeah I'm a fan of usmashing falcon's nair too though.

CC u-smash would Almost always be better. D-tilt and u-smash both come out frame 7,but sadly d-tilt has different hitboxes, so depending on where you hit, you may just get nothing for it........or punished depending on percents

Falcon (in the hands of good players especially) is WAY FAST. I think Down Tilt really shines as anti-ground for vs. Sheik. Jab shuts down her dash attack reliably and shine is shine. Wavedash back Dtilt can be legit

To each their own. Your controller technique is up to you, do what works best. Make sure how ever you play your hands are as relaxed as possible. If you feel tension ever focus on relaxing. If you can't relax try holding the controller differently/positioning your arms differently.

you know that sheik's dash attack can clink with jab and keep going right?

Yea what Brookman said do whatever feels comfortable to you. It also depends on the amount of experience you have with the game and your controller. If you feel synced with your tech skill, you can try out a claw method like curve your index finger around Y and have your thumb on A button.

It also depends on the size of your fingers and the size of your controller. The gray controller is a little bit bigger then the black controller for example. Before buying a controller I look at my hands and determine if I should get a gray controller or another color controller.

I also heard White Controllers are the best, or something about the buttons are heavier. idk

I don't think I'd like a white controller because the stick is more sensitive to up-down movement than left-right. I like left-right to be easy because of dashing, and I like up-down to be a little more "snug" so I can be confident in stuff like dairing without FFing or uairing without DJing (though I've replaced most of these situations with c-stick, but there's still a few that I have stayed with the stick for).

I have been messing around with platforms recently, and I really like pivot shield dropping into bair. Also i used to try and running shield drop into shine turn around waveland off of the platform to get to the ledge and such, but I just running jc turn around shine to wavedash off now because it is easier.

Learn to ledge cancel shines. It's way faster than all of those, though you will need a good bit of distance unless you can ledge cancel grounded shines which I've only ever seen Lovage do in one of his obscure tech videos.

that wouldn't help on platforms to get to the ledge, i think you need to actually have a waveland or wavedash to have momentum to get to ledges on like DL64 and such.

I was talking about just running off a platform and doing a shine-turnaround, jumping as you slide off, and then you can bair instantly.

Yeah, I mean I use shield drop like that all the time. I thought you were just looking for a fast way to get to the ledge with a bair. Nvm.

About the controller discussion, white is the worst. I have one and the b button is kinda twitchy so whenever I try to go for a side b, i sometimes shorten the illusion whenever I don't want to. Blue is the best IMO.

Technically the Firefox stall works by letting go of the edge and instantly up B, right?
Like there shouldn't be any jump before the up B? My controller usually does it though. I doesnt't really seem like I have much influence on it and it ****s me up because I'm loosing important (invincibility) frames...

any advice?
