1. Noid (Dominos is a great pizza brand...I was completely unaware of the Noid until a few years ago though)
2. Wendy (We just got our first Wendys I believe, but know her mostly thanks to their Twitter account. She's probably the biggest female food mascot)
3. Col. Sanders (Finger lickin' good)

Shout out to Jack Box which I know precisely nothing about at all, but the mascot design intrigues me.

1. Noid (A mascot so good it almost makes me want to get Domino's, I have to give credit where it's due that's an impressive feat)
2. Colonel Sanders (I Love You, Colonel Sanders!)
3. Wendy (Don't have much female rep and Wendy's is iconic)

Honorable Mention to all submissions, but as we only have 5 fighters I want to prioritize getting the characters I feel are a necessity (not to say Happy Star or Little Caesar aren't popular, but I think the characters I voted are the most likely to get us angry twitter comments if they weren't in the game)

1. Jack Box
2. Colonel
3. Wendy

Jack is my favorite mascot out of all of these, and the Colonel and Wendy feel very necessary. Plus we have no female characters, yea. Honorable mention to the Noid in particular.

Full Menu Mode will be our mode. Now, here's the results for Job #15 as well:
The Noid 12
Jolibee 4
Little Caesar 2
Happy Star 0
Colonel Sanders 24
Wendy 14
Jack Box 3
Gidget 1

And so, it's a pretty unanimous vote for... Colonel Sanders!!!!
See the source image

had to make some KFC_ES joke. God bless the Spanish KFC employees.

Now onto the first job for him, which is shared with Kool Aid Man:

Job #16: Submit A Stage For Kool Aid Man or Colonel Sanders

KFC Stage: Colonel Sanders’s Office

DA373D2B-B78F-4236-A7F3-C063438A2DEB.jpeg

This is a place seen in some of the KFC commercials. The fighters are shrunken down to fit on his desk. The Finger Lickin’ Good Fried Chicken and the telephone are hazards as well as the other stuff on his desk. The desk also has ledges.

Kool-Aid Stage: Kool-Aid Singles Island

I was going to go for the Jammers Factory due to the limited locations there are for the Kool-Aid lore but we already have a factory stage so this is what I'll now with from one commercial in the mid-2000s. Basically, the stage is tropical-island themed and the layout is based on the end of the commercial. There are two platforms and sometimes the rescue helicopter flies by as a stage hazard. And yes…SOS is spelled SUS in the commercial (and it’s not an Amogus reference).

Job #16 will continue a little while longer. I’ll start Job #17 now:

Job #17: Submit A Place For Me To Go To Lunch
I’m hungry so please submit a fast food place for me to go to lunch at. It can be a franchise represented in this game or not. Please submit the location, and explain why you think I should go there.

Panera Bread

I want something to represent Panera Bread in Food Fight but I love Panera Bread for their healthy options like their salads. Also, their soups, pastries and even mac and cheese are always a treat. Flatbreads there are yummy too. Been going to Panera since I was a youngster.

Job #17: 7-ELEVEn
1648833792549.png

A Place so good,
Animal Crossing allowed it's content in their game, a 7-ELEVEn is sure to satisfy all your needs (unless you're a neat freak that can't stop thinking about the uncapitalized n, but if you don't think about it you're fine). SEVEn-11 has all the things you need like Pizza, Donuts, Muffins, Banana, an Egg Salad Sandwich, Doritos, this is by far one of the most versatile options and from what I gathered they are also fairly priced for a convenience store. This isn't even talking about the drinks and how you can get Rocket League content by buying stuff there, if you don't know what you specifically want you have a long time to decide and have basically everything you need while hungry in for a somewhat affordable price.

A greasy spoon cafe

Greasy Spoon.jpg

A staple in my home country, the greasy spoon cafe is a small local cafe that specialises in fried foods, particularly fried breakfasts. They can be, and often are, independently ran. Usually be surly sorts.

The American equivalent is the American Diner, but frankly Greasy Spoon is more fun to say and makes considerably less sense to anyone outside Britain and Ireland.

Job #16: University of Cooking School: Academy for Learning - Broome Cooking Arena

Cooking-Arena-KFC.png

So the free to play dating sim parody game 'I love you Colonel Sanders' has you, the protagonist, attending a Cooking School alongside a younger Colonel Sanders.

This is the cooking classroom in which you take on your rivals.

Occasionally the characters from the dating sim such as Professor Sprinkles (a corgi chef teacher), Van Van the Man Man (A Jojo parody student chef), Aeshleigh (your love rival student chef), Miriam (your adorably awkward best friend) and Pop (an idiot overweight child chef) will appear in the background engaging in a fierce cookery battle whilst you fight in the foreground in a different kind of cookery battle jumping across ovens and the like.

Those NPCs will on occasion throw ingredients and cooking utensils into the foreground which can be used as make shift weapons.

My KFC stage sub: Kentucky Chicken Coop

A humble farm in the real world Kentucky, where chickens roam, raring and excited for their meaty fate. You fight inside the chicken coop, you can see a farm house; Colonel Sanders statue and KFC in the background

The red platforms are soft, the black platforms are hard. There are no hazards but the flying soft platform can move up and down and the soft stairs will sometimes fall down and rise again later.

Thank you all for actually submitting content for my little april fools joke! I’m not gonna do a whole voting period for a joke that was supposed to end yesterday so I’ll just end this job now. There was a 7-ELEVEn near me (and it’s the only one of the submitted locations that’s actually in the city I live in) so yesterday I actually, no joke, went for (a very late) lunch there. So thank you CheeseAnton CheeseAnton for deciding where I would eat!

Now I think I’m going to close Job #17. Kool-Aid Singles Island will be used if nothing else is submitted for Kool-Aid Man. Here’s the poll for the KFC stage:

Hey just so you know, there isn’t a down special for movesets in this game

Also Glubbfubb Glubbfubb I’d 100% be open to us adding a celebrity chef in here.

I like the idea of having a fictional chef, which is totally not because I came up with an over-elaborate gimmick for Mung Daal in a platform fighter when Multiversus was announced that I can't use anywhere else, totally.

now i think about it i could probably rework that gimmick for any character who has a hungry gross-out sidekick, but still

Colonel Sanders

The-Colonel-animated.png

The Colonel knows how to do chicken right, and his finger licking good chicken is so good it'll stun the competition. In fact, the Colonel specialises in altering the opponents momentum...as well as being somewhat of a fencer type with his cane. Despite using the dating sim's 'sexy' Colonel Sanders during my pitch, his actual image is actually going to be from the 1998-2003 period where he was delightfully animated.

Specials:

Neutral Special: Popcorn Chicken

The Colonel will throw down a piece of chicken which will pop after a while. Any opponent that comes into contact with the popcorn chicken will become stunned.

Up Special: Honey BBQ Wings
The Colonel will be pulled up by a swarm of bees thanks to his delicious honey coated BBQ wings. The Colonel will wear a beekeeper hat during this move. Any opponent who attempts to intercept him will be stung by bees, stunning them.

Side Special: Bucket of Chicken
The Colonel whips out a giant bucket of chicken, digging in and thrusting a large crispy leg into the opponents face with a thrust. This has good knock back power, but has an additional bonus of temporarily making the floor greasy as he'll spill some of the rest of the buckets contents as he does so. Anyone who runs on this will slip and slide on the floor.

Normals:

Light Neutral: Original Recipe

The Colonel jousts with his cane

Light up attack: Colonel's Shaking Things Up
The Colonel brings the cane upwards enthusiastically pointing whilst.

Light down attack: Get on down to KFC
The Colonel sweeps the floor with the cane, which can cause opponents to trip.

Light Dash attack: 11 Herbs and Spices
The Colonel jousts with his cane 11 times whilst pushing forwards, before finishing with a large thwack to send the opponent back.

Strong Neutral: Hot Wings
The Colonel swings a giant hot wing at the opponent. It travels in a slight arc, but if it hits the opponents face their mouths will be ablaze, stunned and take fire damage!

Strong up attack: Tower Burger
The Colonel will whip out a Tower Burger with his cane, the soft bun and incredible height of the burger launching the opponents skywards. Timing is key with this, else the opponent may get past the burger and into close range with the Colonel.

Strong down attack: The Double Down
The Colonel will slam a large fried chicken piece downwards onto the opponent, followed by a second large fried chicken piece. Deals a lot of damage if the initial hit lands leading into a stacked Double Down, but a single 'Down' is relatively weak.

Strong Dash attack: Twister Wrap
The Colonel speeds forwards spinning in a twister motion with his cane. The opponent is wrapped up by a wrap after the Colonel passes, momentarily stunning them. As such it's more advantageous for the Colonel to use this move when the opponent is further away, otherwise they may break free by the time he's finished spinning and punish him as a result.

Aerials

Light Neutral Air: Chicken Pot Pie
The Colonel will throw a Chicken Pot Pie in the direction he's facing. Can be used to knock opponents backwards and off the stage.

Light Up Air: Boneless Banquet Meal
The Colonel will hold up a strip of boneless chicken. This acts as a trampoline to anyone who lands on it. Whilst this doesn't deal damage persay, if the Colonel does this close enough to the blast zone, unsuspecting opponents may end up being bounced straight out of the arena!

Light Down Air: Mashed Potato with Gravy
The Colonel drops a bowl of mashed potato with gravy down below. This acts similar to his Bucket of Chicken Special in that when it hits the floor, the floor becomes slippery. It will do a little damage if dunked onto an opponent, and knock them back down to the ground if they're in the air below him.

Strong Neutral Air: Wicked Variety Bucket
The Colonel will throw several food items forward from a bucket. This will include hot wings which will burn the opponent if it lands in their face, original recipe chicken which deals the most knock back and mini fillets which will bounce the opponent back due to the lack of bones. This one is completely RNG. Have fun!

Strong Up Air: Hot Wing Bucket
The Colonel holds a bucket like a cannon, and the sheer heat of the Hot Wings cause them blast upwards like fireworks. Strong knock back. Can cause burn damage.

Strong Down Air: Family Feast Bucket
An incredibly simple one. The Colonel simply turns a bucket upside down, and the contents of it fall out. Original recipe chicken deals a lot of damage, but the kicker is the bottle of drink that falls out. Getting hit by every item will do insane damage, although unless the Colonel is directly above you when he unleashes it, this shouldn't occur too much.

-------------------------

Misc:

Grab: The Colonel stuffs the opponent into a KFC Bucket.

Taunt: The Colonel spins on the spot becoming his 'bishie' form from the dating sim. He then spins around again and lets out a hearty chuckle as he turns back into his cartoon form.

Victories: The Colonel's logo appears, and he opens it up adjusting his suit as he states "Your Colonel does Chicken Right!" or "That's a Finger-licking good victory!"

Victory against Ronald McDonald or The King: The same as above but "Bad luck Burger Boys, you can't compete with my finger lickin' chicken"

Victory if on a team with Chester Cheetah: The Colonel dances getting 'funky' as he did in the animated ads whilst Chester dresses up like this, skating around.

Kool-Aid Man Assist Item:

Kool-Aid Fun Fizz

127A8281-B20B-4CFE-A603-8CBD927B87E6.jpeg

Basically, when received from the ally, the fighter gets the ability to spray the drink at the opponent allowing them to have “laughing gas” (their controls will be reversed). The Fun Fizz line is discontinued if I recall correct.

Colonel Sanders Assist Item:

KFC Signature Sauce

C7C68A9A-B238-4D2D-9D53-C33C71027DB5.jpeg

When the fighter receives this item, the fighter gets a finger lickin’ stat boost for offense for some saucy combos. How saucy! Who doesn’t love sauce with their fried chicken?

Sunny (Raisin Bran)
1649113431633.png

Man, I keep submitting mascots with great names. Anyways, Sunny comes associated with the Raisin Bran cereal. But I'm not submitting Sunny because I like the cereal, I'm submitting him because this dude Dual Wields.

Since Raisin Bran is supposed to be a healthy wake-up food to start the day off and my man is dual wielding scoops, he could actually be a somewhat fast character with good air mobility (due to being Sun), and other Raisin Bran variants could come into play as well (imagine being ledge-guarded by a cranberry).

Apple and Cinnamon (Applejacks)

We don't actually have these in the UK but I am familiar with these ads due to their meme status. These two would be an unusual team fighter, being a bit like Tom and Jerry in Multiversus in that they'd actively to hinder each other. Cinnamon would be layed back and use his skateboard whole apple would be a trickster and trapper.

Count Chocula

A vampire who seems to like chocolate cereal instead of blood. Basically anything vampiric, but not bloody/gory, he can do. You could also have him control FrankenBerry or Boo Berry for a few attacks, if you wanted. Fruit Brute or Yummy Mummy could even make some sort of appearance.

Toucan Sam (Froot Loops)

169toucansam.jpg

I used to love Froot Loops as a kid. Plus, he would be a very aerial based fighter with some moves pulled from his adventures. He is quite the adventurer going on adventures with his nephews and the liking. He should be in this game due to him being extremely iconic and his immense moveset potential. Plus, his stage could be a traveling stage that shows the locations he has explored. Overall, a deserving cereal mascot for Food Fight!

Crazy Cravings
This demonic abomination is the spirit of hunger and cravings, being able to transform into various beings to possess all to get that sweet sweet honey comb, obviously this guy would be a mid weight kirby knockoff

Cinnamon Toast Squares
These crazy cannibalistic cereal pieces are one of the more forgotten cereal mascots. However, I think they have the best moveset potential out of them. They could fight using bites, bashes, and licks. Also, I have an idea for one of their moves where another square pops out of nowhere, eats the player square, and the player now controls that square.
Resubmitting Cinnamon Toast Squares from Misc. Melee.
