new vids from the tournament last weekend, a bit of help vs snake would help D:
Overall all the sets I'm posting have really good moments, hope you like them.

I got a bit nervous vs snake and got hit by a lot of stupid moves :/, any tips against him? usually when I can grab a snake I can tear him appart but I wasn't confident in approaching raw and he outcamped me easily most of the time >_<.
And yes, I lost the first set to Bardo and he knocked me to losers, our tourney sets always go close, he's the one guy that proves that DDD vs falco isn't that bad xD

Keitaro, you should get rid of bananas/move them away if you aren't going to use.

You took some dumb damage on Delfino the entire time just because you left them there.

other than that GOOD ****!

Mhm, you should try to play another character then Falco in doubles and be less consumed by the deadly sin known as Avaritia

Marcbri, you're 3rd match vs Raw was lovely!! When you got more aggressive you seemed to be doing better. Match 2 he was outcamping you and since Snake kills early thats definitely a loss for Falco.

You seem to be able to **** Snake when he's in the air. If the camping isn't working I'd go for a more aggressive style of jabs and grabs. Also try forward-bing the Snake everyone once in a while. That can cause Snake to be launched in the air very easily. I almost never saw you do this.

Regardless you did pretty well overall against him, his cps just got the best of you since they aren't really good Falco stages (I suck on those cps too)

Also try to watch some of DEHF's vids vs Ally. That could help you out too.

Hey all Falcos, I have a request for those of you who have some free time. Can we please get some critique in the critique thread? I posted some friendlies 2 or 3 days ago, with no response so far, and there is another person who posted their videos on the 24th I believe, still with no response. I have a tournament on Saturday and would love to get some idea on what I should work on before then.

Any help is much appreciated! Sorry for posting outside of the correct thread, but there is absolutely no activity in the critique thread.

just saw this, thanks for the advice.

thats what I was thinking, Snake always outcamped me, so it'ts better to go for him.

the only trouble with going agressive I have is that raw is smarter than other snakes and he just does the first hit of the ftilt on shield and then punishes on reaction. ( either grab, ends ftilt, starts another one or dash attacks if I roll away). Any tip for that?

Usmash OoS? Might work.

If you can powershield the ftilt in anticipation that would also help, could just jab straight after rendering any follow-ups he has to be impossible (probably not so practical though :p)

you can outcamp snake...not wise to do so unless your percents are close + in the lower range though

in that kind of ftilt one situation just spotdodge a few times or just take the dash attack. spotdodge -> roll in some direction might work

you could also just sh airdodge away? not sure on this one

ya powershielding destroys ftilt one

marth can db 1 snake between ftilt hits if he powershields so it's def possible for falco

Without PS you can jab inbetween.
Shieldgrabs is possible - so Ftilt1-2 has -6 advantage at least
Usmash OOS is possible - -9 (it would be -8 but it doesnt tradehit etc)
shield drop = 6
jab = 2

thus we can shielddrop jab : D

Have you actually tried it though? It seems like the pushback from ftilt1 might put us out of range.

Would depend on the spacing, I guess. Jab has an insane amount of range (and disjoint) for a jab, though ^^
Yeah, and Snake's Ftilt has an insane amount of range (and disjoint) for a forward tilt :p

So it would definitely depend on spacing.

Its hard to give advice for Falco against a weird character that us other Falcos never play, especially to such a high level.

I saw the set already but I'll watch it again cause there was something I was gonna say but I wanna make sure.

kismet you should attack less when you're thrown into the air. Whenever Reflex had you in the especially, with squirtle you would do an aerial to try to attack you after he hit you into the air which gave you more damage.

You should start going for f smashes at kill %. Going for an f smash when someone is going to land in front of you is one of the easiest way to kill an opponent. I think that if you charged an f smash when charizard recovered on the moving platform it might've killed.

Against Reflex's Charizard use down b against his rock smash. You probably already know that, but I just wanted to say it because that's such an amazing move.
