You might be wrong on a couple of those. There is rumored to be a Kirby game in the works.

That Kirby has been in the works since forever. It was originally to use Melees engine on the Gamecube and was mentioned not long after Melee's launch.

I've been looking forward to that Kirby game for so long now. The game certainly did look amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if that game was scrapped now. I guess they could easily use the Brawl engine if they ever plan to take another stab at another Kirby game.

I'm going to bet that at least 50% of the stuff we hear are basically stuff for the core gamers. With Nintendo on a roll recently IMO, it's not like they want to screw over that momentum now.

Is it sad that like....nothing excites me anymore? I mean, everything that I've considered purchasing has already been released, and everything that I've shown no interest in is schedule to premier at E3.

I always hype up E3, and they always have at least one shocking announcement so this year is as good a chance as ever for something you may like.

I dunno. All the videos I've seen of it, (including a recent segment on ACA with 'Australias first look at Natal!' all it looks like is an eyetoy. Though I guess if they make a bunch of games like that Milo thing they'd certainly get some sucess with the 'casual' and young children crowd.

I swear if this got revealed instead of HL2:Ep3 I would delete my copy of Steam and remove my account.

If Left4Dead3 is announced, I refuse to have anything to do with that game series. I loved L4D, bought L4D2 and never installed it (or opened it for that matter) because I lack access to Windows for a while, but I just refuse to support a business model that sees a new game coming out every year. That's why I never play sports games.

Agreed entirely. I was really disappointed with Valve when they did it the first time, normally they are really good with that kind of stuff.

I was never much of a fan of DK games, and for that I'd rather not see that being Retro's new game, but who knows, it could be as surprisingly good as Metroid Prime, I don't doubt it.

Parodius is Japan only. This is made clear by the fact that the portable collection of the Parodius games on PSP never had exports IIRC.

REALLY? It was mentioned before E3 2005? If that's the case, if that Kirby game is not announced or mention at E3, I'm going to start calling it
"Kirby's Dreamland Forever".

I'm extremely excited about the rumors surrounding a new Donkey Kong title. I'm a huge fan of the DK series...well, at least of the REAL DK games. There's actually a lot to support to the rumors about the new Donkey Kong game, like this Twitter conversation I found on a DK forum:

I think it's safe to say those are hints at a new DK title. There is also this screen shot that I got off of the Donkey Kong Universe forum, which is suppose to be a drawing or something (not exactly sure), of what the game is suppose to look like, but I'm not entirely convinced this is real:

I completely doubt the validity of this image, but boy would that have been an awesome Gamecube game. I say that because it's odd enough to have been on the GCN, whereas the Wii's standards in terms of game design don't seem to support such a path.

A number of third party publishers will have some surprises at E3 (no duh, but at least we have a list). My guesses:

EA: Mass Effect 3?

Capcom: I'm hoping for Devil May Cry 5 or a new Darkstalkers, but regardless it will probably be cool. Please just don't make it Mega Man 11 or some other variant on Street Fighter IV.

Temco Koei: Umm... not too familiar with these guys.

Konami: Contra Reboot? Please?

Square Enix: I would like to see KH3 and an HD remake of FFVI and Chrono Trigger. Although it's most likely either the previously mentioned KH3 or some FF spin off.

Sega: Whatever it is, it's probably not a sequel to any of the games I want it to be.

Ubisoft: I want it to be a REAL Rayman game or a sequel to '08 Prince. Not sure what it will be, though.

Namco Bandai: Soul Calibur 5 maybe....?

Bethesda: Come on Elder Scrolls V!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
