Rumour that animal crossing will be a launch title with 3DS! Assuming this is an actual sequel I am quite looking forward to the title. I think it'll be a good title to show off new capabilities for 3DS and to introduce a new improved online system.

Yeah, I read that too. I hope it's true but I doubt it. I'm gonna say the 3DS will have at least Gamecube graphics. Still gonna wait for the next version of the 3DS whenever they release it. Don't want to be stuck as an early adopter like I was with the DS.

As far as I'm concerned, the only way a modern-day hand-held would ever look that good is if it was the side of four bricks strapped together.

I agree one the GC graphics thing, although it would be odd to see a hand held along side a console with the same graphical quality.

i for one would be in awe if the 3ds had better graphics than the wii
then i would demand nintendo release the WiiHD alongside the 3ds

As a general rule handhelds tend to have roughly the same processing power as consoles two generations earlier. I remember reading that somewhere, though I'm not in a position to look it up right now.

I don't think the PSP has more "power" than the PS2. I'm fairly sure that the PSP is only close to the power of the PS2.

Well it's supposed to come out sometime this year but if they delay it till next year, I'll be crushed...I want my Golden Sun! Dunno what they've been up to since the last one on the GBA. (Still can't beat the final boss...)

I still need to finish GS2 as well. I had to borrow it from a friend but returned it since I didn't have a lot of free time on my hands.
I'm also surprised Nintendo didn't try to hype the announcement of Golden Sun DS.

I thought they would've done something somewhat big. There's still E3 though.

You might be wrong on a couple of those. The 3DS is confirmed to be shown and playable at E3. There is rumored to be a Kirby game in the works. And Animal Crossing 3DS is rumored to be a launch title.

As for SSB4, yes it's only been two years, but why can't a new SSB game be shown and then be released in one or two years? Brawl was shown in 2006 and then released in 2008. If SSB4 comes out in 2012, that's four years in between which is plenty.

The only way I can see us getting a new Super Smash Bros. at E3 is if it's Super Smash Bros. Brawl EX or something similar, an update, not a sequel.

The journalist from gameblog.fr are on a leash recently. After implying that they already saw Metal Gear Solid Rising running at Kojima productions, and leaking Mizuguchi's next game code name (Child of Eden), they are now affirming that Nintendo's next console will be called Wii HiFi. According to what game developers told them, it will be announced at the right end of Nintendo's E3 conference, and it is planned to release around November 2011. Here are the details that have leaked so far:

* It should be on par with the 360
* It should not be called Wii 2 but Wii HiFi
* It will be very online-oriented this time
* Community aspects will be a big component
* It should be out around November 2011

There's also been rumors circulating that it's as strong as the PS3 and 360. If this is the case and the online is top tier, I'll gladly buy it.

I'm not setting myself up disappointment though. I'll just keep things simple like a new Starfox game.

I'm with you on Wii HD but that is not what Wii "Hi Fi" is supposed to be. Completely new hardware with an apparent "focus on the online interface".


The best part of these rumors is that in a matter of days we'll find out everything.
