Genesis was one of my first 'biggish' tourneys with people OOS, I drove 26 hours to get there, got DQ'd from everything to watch instead.
Was beyond worth it. Playing myself wouldn't have helped me nearly as much, wouldn't have been as much fun, wouldn't have even been worth the trip.

Going to tourneys and not entering is where it's at.

Though next time, now that I know what this 'smash' game is like, I'd enter and actually play a match. lol

In general, it's OK to take Falco to, but generally a bad place to take Fox to.

The thing is, your stage choice should almost always be based off of information from your opponent.

With that being said, you tend to want to take people there who you know wont run FROM you, or who you're planning to run FROM. On the inverse, you don't want to take Fox there from you if he just beat you by running from you on like, yoshis. You're just making the problem worse at this point.

Other key things to think about are

-Did you die off the top alot? Was that like, the ONLY way you died?

-Did they keep teching your edgeguards? Wanna make it harder?

-Was your pill game messing them up? Do you want to add another variable to it? (Sloped ramps)

another thing to watch for is how they recovered. if they rely on phantasm a lot, kongo is good.

Cause like... his up+b... kinda has no hitbox on startup... so it's like.... you see him go below the ledge and it's like, pick a move.

I was more so talking about fox. there are some foxes that don't use firefox that much, except for when they get too low and can't use phantasm. these foxes get ****ed up at kongo.
