I mean to be fair Mach Rider’s design is literally just your average motocross outfit...
Yeah, but...it's a motocross outfit with a freaking machine gun! Why do you think it's called Mach Rider?
I'll try to balance between characters I particularly want to see with some reasonable picks that I think would be worthy additions and would make other people happy too, while maintaining a fair bit of variety yadda yadda. There are only a few characters I vehemently and realistically want to see in the game so I'll try and keep it pretty down to earth and not super abstract and dreamy lmao.
I am interested in how a Rayman PreMiium costume would look. Probably something like this.
I'd like to see a Shovel Knight Mii Swordfighter costume, with a song (like Strike the Earth! Plains of Passage, whether it's the original or a remix) included. Much like Bomberman, if he's going to be stuck as an assist trophy, at least a Mii costume that resembles the character will be better than not being playable at all.
to be fair after they brought back the Akira Yuki costume from 4 (he's also an AT in Ultimate) I think they've started a new trend of Miis based on ATs, like the Squid Sisters and Bomberman. I kinda expect Alucard, Rodin, maybe even Yuri Kozukata to be Mii'd down the line
That.....could work? I mean, the reason Shovel Knight is focused on because of Bomberman, but I guess if Creeper and Pigman are a thing, Sukapon could work. The only real issue with Sukapon is that their main body parts are.....smaller compared to the Creeper and Pigman costumes and could have hit-box issues.
I think Mythra's original Driver Addam should be a Mii Costume, similar to how Rex the current Driver to P/M is also a costume as well. Plus, in my head, I think Addam is going to be one of the spirits and alternate colors choice for Mythra while Pyra having a Rex color scheme.

Being a Mii costume isn't a deconfirmation. It's a half-confirmation. Which is better than no confirmation.

They could use the original design of Red for Pikachu, after all, he uses the original version of Red's Hat as a costume.
Sukapon, Alex Kidd, Black mage, Jack Frost and princess Tomato mii costumes would be amazing to have

What if Pyra's is actually Flame and that one fake leak a while ago was inadvertently true.
Plus, one of the reasons it took Sakurai longer to finish Steve than it took to finish other characters was he had to do a lot of level-editing for Steve's mining ability.

The game came out before frickin' Banjo was playable in Smash. June 15 2018 on iOS/Android! Then Augest 18 on Steam.
Actually, it came out in 2018, but 2020 was when it gained popularity.
The game came out in 2018 (albeit not popular until last year) and also we have little to no information on how Mii costumes are decided.
We don’t really know when Mii costumes are finalized or how long they take to make. But I do agree that it’s probably too soon.
First off, it was actually made in 2018 even if it gained popularity recently. Secondly I'm assuming Mii Costumes don't take very long to make. I think a character is completely off limits, but a Mii Costume may be possible, if a bit unlikely.
