Defending Your Right To Play "Gay"

As some of you may know, I recently started a thread giving tips on How To Play "Gay". I believe that it is a good thing for the community to embrace camping and playing your best, even if that means winning in a "non traditional" way. I feel that it is not enough for me to simply encourage or help players to play "Gay". In the face of opposition/naysayers who hate playing "Gay, or who want you to stop doing so, I have decided to make a list of valid responses to their questions. If you come up with some good ones yourself, I will consider adding them to my official list.


1. I'm not Running Away, I'm just Spacing Really Well.

2. I wouldn't have to Run Away if you would stop trying to hit me.

3. It's not Stalling, It's Camping... WITH STYLE!

4. My Mother told me not to use Violence to solve my problems, so I just Run Away from Conflicts.

5. I'm not trying to hide from you, I'm just using Guerrilla warfare.

6. If you can't hit me, that just means that your Aim SUCKS!

7. I'm not invincible the entire time (although I wish I was).

8. I love you too much to ruin our relationship by fighting with you.

9. I'm not trying to run out the clock, I'm just making sure my character gets a good Cardio Workout.

10. Patience is a virtue. I have a lot of it.

11. When the going gets tough, I just wait it out.

12. You call it Playing "Gay", I call it Having Fun.

13. If you think my strategy is too good, why don't you just copy it?

14. I'm Claustrophobic, I need LOTS of space.

15. I enjoy leisurely strolls around Brinstar, as they allow me to better appreciate the lovely scenery.

Its not enough to just watch you burn the acid bubble away in the acidic depths of Brinstar. I must take my time to fully appreciate and scientifically study each and every organic crevasse encircling this vast cavern we have been ironically summoned into.
