Bthrow = 2 Dthrows
this is EXACTLY IT

i get asked why i rarely tech chase, and this is the honest answer

dthrow is a fantastic move for putting someone in a bad position...you can tech chase for a grab, killing move, whatever

but as a damage racker, it's honestly just not as good as bthrow (in my situations)

bthrow does 16 and puts the opponent in a bad position @ low percents, wherein you can bait an airdodge into ANOTHER bthrow for 31

Unless you're very confident in your ability to rack up the damage via tech chasing which is determined by the player and he opposing character's tech roll a solid B-Throw is often better. Especially since an unstaled B-Throw = 2 unstaled D-Throws. It's just more practical in a higher level setting to use B-Throw.

usually ill try to pull just one down throw techchase, so because even though its not guaranteed, its still relatively easy to pull off, but after that I dont want to press my luck so Ill just b throwr after that.

B throw->baited air dodge-> another bthrow is great at low percents. I usually bthrow non-changrabables, unless they have terrible rolls or I am near the edge where I can set somethinng up on/off stage. Sometimes I downthrow to read for kill at higher percents, even away from the edge, as well.

Also, fellow D3s, my placings are steadily getting higher and higher. I'm quite pleased :D

I like dthrowing once against Kirby's and G&W's to see if they know they can DI up and get out of it, if they don't know, I have a lot of fun tech chasing them, but I usually just b-throw and bait the dodge for another grab at low percents like most of you guys, lol.

lol why dont you guys just down throw--> ftilt instead when ur bthrow is stale, 2% less and unstales your moves quicker
then they usually do something dumb after the ftilt for another easy punish.

dair to fair to fastfall to pivot grab

or

uair to nair to bair to b-reverse inhale to beat the airdodge

omg i love this character
@a) Just dair to fair.
@b)Uair?

how bout chaingrabbing at 0%, love it.
Get the grab.
Nair to WoP in the air ;]
I approve.
how bout back throw-->bair on link at 0% and stand by the ledge and watch him not make it.
Why would anyone use Link vs D3?
How about Uthrow > Utaunt?
Bthrow > "Awwww yeaaahhh" position.

Brawl doesn't have combos. Only followups.

MK is the only one with a combo. And it's only with uairs.

... Why do I get the feeling this place is dead?

Really, am I making a mistake in picking up D3?

Also, need a good victory theme for D3. Suggestions?

Albert I'd appreciate it if you didn't go around linking matches of me giving up. I believe this is the second place I've found you linking it to multiple people >__>

^ This should help. I use it to seperate Ganondorf from the Zelda series so he can have the S.S.H. version of this, which I can't seem to find on youtube.

Gonna use ZS's theme.
