How do you know if it finds the hack file if it says 'No SD codes found'? To me, that would suggest that it DIDN'T find the hack file.
you're right, I looked at game name >.< but what did I actually do wrong? I tried downloading kupo's GCT file and put it into codes and I tried mookie's aswell but neither works for me.. =(

._. Does Kupo's txt file have 11/22/5?
he didn't edit the name but he did change the code

Okay, is anyone else having trouble with the Debug pause code? I think the little pseudo-paragraph explaining it could be worded better.

Press Start to freeze the game(don't worry, the music and sounds are unaffected).
Press Z to step through frame by frame.
Press Start again to unfreeze the game.
(The new Start command is X+D^)
Also, does "X+D^" mean, like, X and up on the D-pad? Is that a "stage loading"-ish button activator (like a music mod activator)?

Noooo. It works like the Debug Menu pause from Melee. Just press X+ D-pad up to pause, Z to go through each frame of the game, and press X+D-pad up to unpause it. Not too hard to understand, you ALSO need the code leaf posted above in conjunction with it.

I guess I'm just the most unlucky person in the world... I had problems with every step >_<
I use mookie's file, unedited, I just changed the name to fit the EU game's name but now it freezes after I select a stage... are you supposed to use different codes with PAL?

I participate in a thread where we make up custom stage minigames.

We need a code for keeping items on stage forever. Mr. Saturn especially.

Another good idea is the possibility to throw a team mate against a foe and let only the foe get damage. While it may seem stupid, imagine the possibilities! Team Brawl could get much more fun and competitive.

This is an incredibly interesting project. After watching the vids, I am considering modding my Wii just so I can try this out.

But I was wondering, will there be any code that can help out the Tethers?

can we have a hack that makes taunts do things like unstale/strengthen moves?
It's possible, sure... but kinda pointless. We're already going to be using the stale moves code, and just due to the way a match works, I'd rather not give players a free chance to boost their stats just because they killed their opponent and they're in the middle of respawning. It's pointless, overly complicated, and would just throw another wrench into the balance of the game.

-Port priority
-Auto fire jabs
-Friction MOD (I get this one, just why?)
Currently, port priority (the lower numbered port has the highest priority) determines some things such as who gets a grab when they both happen on the same frame, and it also plays into stuff like bowser's suicide throw on the last stock (sometimes it ties and sometimes bowser wins based on port priority), and other things like what character gets resistance to explosions if they're both hit by one (snake is notorious for this).

Auto-fire jabs is a stupid fix that I don't think we should bother with. It basically just stops you from being able to hold down the A button to perform rapid jabs. Like I said, unneeded.

The friction mod is for stopping characters from sliding all over the place, which may soon be very important with the running momentum from a jump (RMJ) code we'll be getting.

We're doing individual character balancing, so if a tether character is deemed in need of repair, we'll do something to help them out.

-No more hold A and all the jabs come out and no hold A and snake repeats the first jab
-The game is sloppy now because of it


Idk if its me but it seems like the throw speed effects the kb of the throws? The slide from the jumps is fixed.

I used Falcon and ganon and ROB and diddy

Thanks for that, and if you want my opinion:

Port Priority - I searched that but fail to see how that is port priority. I searched 'port priority brawl' and found a video of Zelda Bvs and I must say, as much as it sucks, I don't think it is going anywhere

Auto Fire Jabs - I actually would really like this, it may nerf Metaknight's neutral A, but MK kind of deserves it

Friction MOD - I see no problems, but I didn't have a problem with VB until I upgraded to B+

Yea I get stuck on the ledge for some reason
SH/DD/FF/ALC works
DCing still doesn't work
Jump speed works and no slide

There is definitely some weird affect when you increase the throw speed. If you put it on 2 for testing and dthrow with falcon, they get stuck to you. An upthrow makes them go high also

I had the same problems. The dash cancel didn't work for me either. Also every single time I grabbed the ledge my character would freeze in the initial grab animation.

Just wondering. Could someone make a codes that makes multiple smart bombs go off when Falcon does Show me Your Moves? Just asking.

With Throw Speed on 1.2 I've discovered a small glitch/issue. When Metaknight does his D-Throw, the person he's throwning gets attached to him in a frozen state. They can only be detatched if Metaknight attacks. The person stuck to Metaknight can't do a single thing to detatch themselves.

Also, with the new freeze frame code, shouldn't the activator for the freeze be X+D^? 'Cause for me the start button freezes and X+D^ is the new start button. I get the impression it's supposed to be like that, but I think it'd be better the other way around.

Just cracked character specific gravity in ASM - notably, it can also be tweaked to only affect specific moves. I didn't get to test extensively because my brother hijacked the TV, but I could confirm that it could be modified to work on Link's Up+B.

We should consider making a list of all the values that don't work. There were some value(s) that made Bowser's dthrow deal 0%. And great job as always Almas.

So now we have char specific grav and SHs. Sweet! Can't wait for the code!

I updated my set. 86 lines is very cool!
