Characters With REAL Potential to Move Up

Its nearly impossible to predict the twists and turns of the tier list. We never know who will suddenly attract new players or will have an amazing AT discovered. However, there are probably six characters I believe will be moving up- though I can't say how much. Maybe a couple spots, perhaps up to the next set. I won't bother going into deep explanantions- I'm not all that motivated too. Consider this my basic outlook.

Mario
PT
Sonic (Yes, I main him, but I see his potential regardless.)
Olimar
Lucas
Luigi

I'd love to put Link on that list, but I know deep down its unlikely he'll move up too far. I'd like to believe he'll go up one or two spots someday. Luckily, Toon Link should be rising before long.

Olimar is moving up. That is a fact.

Diddy will not move up. You say that his nanners will move him up but the can be used on him as well. The more I play diddy the easier it is to throw them almost as well as Diddy.

A advantage that can be used on you is hardly a advantage.

Yeah being able to even out your worst match-up is very stagnant

It doesn't make that matchup in Wolf's favor or anything though, and he can still CG you, and spike you, just not one after the other.

Diddy stays where he is in the tier list. Stop sayin diddy counters MK on FD or at all. Its annoying and ignorant. Shows u dont really kno the character. FD ISNT good because diddy has a hard time killing MK. I never see FD in tourney regardless if i use diddy or not.

DK should be higher.

You're right, I don't know Diddy. I never said I did. I'd been told by like everyone that Diddy countered MK on FD. Including Diddy mains. Give me reasons and I'll put them up. Sorry if it sounded offensive. Wasnt tryin to be. How many reputable diddy mains/players are there that places high? Just something to ask urself. Ignorant just means someone not knowing. No harm by it. If u seen me fight M2K on PS1 which is about the same size as FD u'll see why. He didnt die until like 200%. MK has no problem gimping and can kill u regardless of percent because of gimps. Diddy cant gimp in that same ease.

I've said this from the start since the game was out. Malcolm is one of the few that shows what i was talking about. The falcon that cant kill well. That's it.

Sheik has better matchups than Ike, Bowser, and everyone that is currently under her now, so she should move up a wee bit.

ZSS should move up. Watch Snakeee play. That's all I have to say.

Should DDD move up to 2nd cause of his inability to completely shut down 6 chars.? IMO, no, but it's just a thought...

The ICs have infinites on all characters but themselves if they can get it right.

That's not even close to how you get a mile time. My 1/4 (or 400 or w/e) best ever was 0:57. Multiply that by 4 and you get pretty much an Olympian's time. And I could never do the olympics.. Rofl. My intelligence has dropped from listening to your false logic >.< get out.

zelda is staying where she is. She cant approach well and her 'spammy f-b' isnt spammy.

A defensive camping game can partially solve that. Her f-b isn't spammy if the opponent actually avoids it/air dodges it; also depending on stage though. If timed well, successive uses may work.
I'm not a dedicated Brawl player, and I've actually seen some of your vids NinjaLink (Zelda ones) so I'm not gonna question your credibility.

If she does move up, it won't be by a large margin, I would only say one or two spots, just higher in the middle tier.

Onto another point, I don't know if people will ever consider Zelda/Sheik the same character, but each one can cover some weaknesses of each other, and if this were ever the case, I could see the duo going up, factoring the vulnerability of transform of course. Though I doubt it.
