Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ('Terminal' - the 17th for Elite / 18th for non-Elite)

I find it more difficult to do well in this game. My k/d was higher in Black Ops than this game, I really don't get why I can't do as well.

I'm the same way. I'm leveling at slightly less than a 2 K/D, which is really odd for me. Then again, I'm playing in ways that don't really lend themselves towards good K/Ds (Shotgun and Riot shield shenanigans. My assist count is glorious though. )

Things I've noticed in the game that really throw me off when I'm playing:

Wanted Pro - I notice it happen SO much more often in this game than in others. The rage I feel...

Movement Speed - I feel much slower compared to other CoD games. I keep failing to dip around corners (not that it'd help anyways ) because it takes SO long to walk.

Firefight Mechanics - I dunno what it is exactly, but I feel like my ability to win a firefight is RANDOM. Sometimes I just...instantly die. No red jelly effect or anything. It's odd.

Map Layouts - There aren't any safe areas. Every route has 5 locations to enter, essentially, and the ways out if I'm trying to flank are usually narrow, limiting my escape options. Basically, when I'm on the move, I have too much to cover by myself and not enough space to work with when I need to escape.

Spawns - Really drives the map layout issue home. It's EXTREMELY difficult to plan a route/confrontation when the enemy is spawning from three different directions around you and bum rushing. Good luck.

On an alternate note, I got to Specialist Mode and panicked cuz I shot a guy in Dead Man's Hand. Predator went off, Thunder died (sorry bro =(), but I lived. I was really confused, and then I realized that Blast shield is GODLIKE and spared me.

Delta, the map layouts are deliberate, it's to stop camping.

I'm aware of this.

But if it's intentional, why remove it? If it's a glitch, then buff the shotguns.

Because right now, they're taking away the one thing that makes the shotguns good. MORE DAMAGE. That people have to tread through blood, sweat and many hours of tears and fetal position rocking to get to.

I love the SCAR. Much better than the M4 for one reason and one reason only; Better Iron Sights.

Sorry Zlip. I like the M4, but I don't like use optics if I don't need to. I like using silencers on some guns (like the SCAR and the CM901) with Kick, but I don't want to be forced to use 2 attachments if I don't have to.

The Riot Shield is useless in everything except Team Defender it seems. I added a throwing knife and expected to get like no kills yet everyone likes to stand directly in front of you for ages with a shield and I got quite a few.

Sit in that pipe on Hardhat and you are basically a wall.

Oh. No, sorry. :/ I was one of those 'melee kids' who stopped playing after Brawl came out. I gave it a good go. Snake was my character of choice though (as if anyone couldn't POSSIBLY guess that).
