Also, I've used C4 since... second prestige I think. I tried out 'nades on two classes in my 8th prestige and I immediately switched back the game after.

I find Semtex better suited for setting off explosives, especially at a distance. Setting off trucks on Dome is a breeze with those things. Aside from that, I either use C4 or Throwing Knife.
I also aim for the chest/stomach most of the time, depending on how I'm playing. Guess it carries off from my sniping, but I've never had trouble when aimin for the stomach.

Pm9 kick is still relevant, especially with view kick. Non rapid fire kills quick enough anyway, extended mags gives better range and obviously more bullets. Plus shooting people in the groin just isn't cool

I used frags all last prestige and barely got the emblem (50 frag kills). As far as that other challenge, I don't know how in the world they expect you to throw frags back, let alone get kills with them. Even if they don't cook them at all, it's unlikely you'll ever have time to get off another throw (idk if Quickdraw helps with that, but even so). I am stupid and try to throw them back almost all the time just to be cool, and I think I've only ever gotten 1 kill like that.

I've aimed for the stomach area since I started playing the CoD series. Never failed for me whether I'm aiming down sights or hip firing.

On a different note, I put semtex on all of my classes because I felt like C4 was cheap, mainly because it's so easy to get kills with, but I have to put C4 back on. Semtex is so bad it's really unbearable.

Semtex = hitmarkers
C4 = kills

I don't really think C4 is cheap at all since you can't toss it as far as grenades. The shorter range is worth it though because C4 actually kills stuff.

Even if Frags killed the same range as C4, I might still prefer C4 because of its speed. You can toss it pretty damn far if you get a good running+jumping start and aim high.

I love getting kills with C4 by tossing it over the walls on Hardhat.

I never try to return frags outside of single player, regardless of whether or not I know they're cooked. Seems really foolhardy. Blast Shield Pro should have Black Ops's FJPro effect, where picking up a frag for return resets the fuse on it.

You're ******** if you need to die 4 times in a row and fall on your *** with your primary out to get a kill. That about sums up my night with this game.

About half of the times I lost my Specialist last night were from Final Stand or DMH. -_-'

Same goes for me. I almost exclusively lose specialist from a deathstreak or getting knifed, neither of which are legitimate deaths in my book.

Or an RPG headshot. That happened on like a 15 killstreak last night. Fun game.

Does anyone here advocate deathstreaks? Or do we all agree that they're unnecessary BS? I'm just a bit curious.

I think deathstreaks are almost the only reason why I run pistols as my secondary on nearly every class. After I snipe someone and see them on the ground, if they're clutching their chest, I draw my pistol and run (depending on how close I am), if they're lounging with their primary raised, I can usually draw my pistol and get them with one shot. Now that I can get the kill for downing them, I'm not as worried about it. The fact that they're still alive and can kill my teammates is what upsets me (especially now since I need a new mic), because it should be my responsibility to confirm the kill. If the enemy is lying in Final Stand, all that they suffer from is restricted movement, the inability to jump or use equipment (?), and they die in one shot/hit. It's... no.

If it wasn't for deathstreaks like Finals Stand and DMH, I'd run anti-air support on more of my classes. Though I still vouch for the clearance of deathstreaks altogether.

I'm pretty sure everyone hates death streaks. Even the people that don't, I can't imagine they would care if they got taken out. It seems like one of those things devs think people like because it helps them, but in reality no one cares or they just get upset by it.

I wish there was playlist where everyone spawned with specialist... >_>

Actually, people do like deathstreaks. I tried making a thread on the CoD site asking for Final Stand and Dead Man's Hand to be nerfed and let's just say I got a lot of opposition.

IIRC, the point of deathstreaks is "to help a player get back on his feet when things aren't going his way"

I don't see how the most popular deathstreaks, Final Stand, Martyrdom, and Dead Man's Hand, accomplish this.

If anything, deathstreaks should function more like juiced (or painkiller, I guess). I don't see how dying to get a kill (a la Martyrdom, Dead Man's Hand, and most of the time, Final Stand) helps a player "get back on his feet."

Oh, is that how the PM9 works? I just started with it today. I only used it a little bit a couple prestiges ago, so I slapped on a silencer and had forgotten how ridiculous the kick and iron sight are. May have to tack on Steady Aim and go to town. lol

Even then, it seems as if you'd have to struggle to maintain such a terrible w/l ratio. I mean, I leave almost every game that I join in Mw2 and I've still maintained a .7. In Black Ops, it is the same case. It isn't like I'm bad either. My K/D is 1.0 in Mw2 and 1.5 in Blops, but leaving games destroys my W/L.

I got good news and bad news.

Good news: Ya boy just got Sitrep Pro.

Bad news: I just started a second job.

But I can work as few as two days a week if I want. I'll probably be working on Mondays and Fridays.

So it probably won't be as bad as I'm making it out to be.

Hotarms, I LOVED the KSG once I got damage. I know that's kind of obvious, but Damage makes more difference on the KSG then any other Shottie. I believe that wholeheartedly.

I started using the Model again tonight.
