They didn't lie, Fourzerotwo (the then community manager for Infinity Ward) went to the "patching team" (lol) at IW and told them about it/requested a patch but they ignored him and didn't do anything.

He tried, and failed.

The "patching team" should be fired, if they fixed one man army and danger close, or just one man army, the game would have been so much better.

How much stuff have they patched? Like three things and one of them being a glitch that shouldve been fixed a year ago?

They've patched a few things:

- Care package glitch (Running with the CP marker makes you go like 200% of your normal speed.)
- Javelin glitch (Blows everyone up near you.)
- Nerfed the range/damage (I think?) of the akimbo model 1887s
- And recently, the fuel rock glitch. (The patch is available on the PS3 and has been said to be in the final works to be released on the PC/360.)

Pretty sure they've learned from their mistakes because I remember reading fourzerotwo mentioning the way Treyarch patches their games without the need for a full-game update.

Why did they have to patch this?? It's the only way I could salvage (lol) any fun out of that awful map.

Got my first nuke in a long time tonight!

It was said a while ago that it would not be nerfed/patched because the "patching team" (lol) at IW are a bunch of idiots and noobs who love to spam infinite DC noobtubes.

I also use the OMA/Danger Close/double C4 and Claymore setup. Works like a charm camping on an S&D bomb site. Throw in some Last Stand and you've got the ultimate rage quit inducing class.

Tip: When you get put into Last Stand with no hope of winning the match, kill yourself with stuns.

This reminds me of the time I got to 24 kills and some **** with DC OMA noobtubes ****ing blew me apart

You get access to stuns while in Last Stand? Wtf I thought you couldn't throw those while in that state

Yeah, stuns/flashes/smokes are accessible with Last Stand Pro. If you're going to die anyway, why not kill yourself and cheat the enemy out of a kill?

OMA Danger Close is great if there's some annoying gentlemen on the other team. Don't whine about it when you can fight fire with fire.

OMA Tubing is not nearly as bad as you guys make it out to be, I still think you're better off going MLC UMP, SP FAMAS, or quick-scoping Barrett. I've never had a problem against tubes.

Maybe I agree with the UMp one. I can kind of see a point with Famaz. But I would never ever EVER compare quick scoping with the Barret to OMA Noob Tubes. I can't believe you would consider that worse/scrubbier than tubes.

Fletch wtf are you comparing quickscoping to OMA noobtubing? They're nothing alike and it's ridiculous to compare both of them in any way

SMH... I'm not comparing the tactics as nooby at all, just listing good ways to play the game, and I think using those options is better than tubing. I'm a quickscoper myself, I wouldn't call that tactic nooby, it's one of the reasons I don't like BO MP.

Meh, at least I learned it's possible to spawnkill like that on Sub Base. Imo it was good, but too much editing for my liking. :/

Serious, how many of you have played as of late and experienced the hoard of {:b} players with game breaking hacks?

Meh thermal is alright. I hate when people ***** about snipers using thermal because it's all preference. I for one much prefer FMJ except on dark maps like underpass.

With the PSN down, I'm really starting to have MW2 withdrawl. Every night now, I dream of destroying quickscopers with the wondrous magic that is Last Stand and Akimbo Rafficas...

I may not be in Create anymore but a couple of my friends are so I thought I'd leave this here. I was having so much fun with Create since it was just me and some of my friends but then some other guys made a Create clan then merged with us. It took all the fun out of it for me. And now my friends in Create never play with me since they have like 10 Create guys they play with constantly. So I quit and I'm glad I did.

I so wish this game had a theater mode.

So in my response to Deltacod. You can't panic knife other people that have commando if you don't have commando yourself. Every time I tried the guy with commando somehow gets priority, so that doesn't work. Also the argument that you are sacrificing other perks to use commando is pretty weak IMO. You still ignore the fact that commando allows you to teleport through bullets and knife a guy, and that really doesn't make any sense. Even if you hear someone's footsteps, only way you know which direction they come from is if you have a good headset and not everyone wants to pay 50 bucks for a good headset(which is ok, if people don't want to they shouldn't have to). I've used shotguns and occasionally people with commando will teleport through my shotgun rounds, which is really ridiculous. Frankly I don't have much of a problem with people using ninja or sitrep(then again barely anyone has the pro version of this perk) because if I do notice them and they are getting closer at least I don't have to worry about them knifing me from a crazy distance.
