Thoughts on this anyone? Decided I like the style of just fading transitions and a song to go with it.
Pretty good. great throwing knife on Scrapyard. Best clip in my opinion. Hitmarker AT4 switch was D:. I hate getting hitmarkers on trickshots. No scope was pretty cool too. Editing was a simple which can be good or bad I suppose. Nice minitage though! Sub'd.

@Alex; The blindfire was pretty legitimate, I must say.
Speaking of which, what does YY'ing to in this game, and does anyone have exact stats on how much more accurate it makes your gun?

I was under the impression that YY'ing had no effect on the accuracy of no scopes. I thought it was just for aesthetic value and used in weapon switch trick shots/ladder oriented trickshot. Maybe I'm wrong?

How many times did you try that throwing knife kill? That was really cool.
That was probably my third time trying it that day, funny because nine times out of ten, we still win even though we're jumping all over the place going for cool killcams. I messed up the kill, the strategy is to jump, 360, knife, pick up your throwing knife in mid-air and throw it. I never knifed, haha.

Awesome bro! Loved that 360 throwing knife kill on Scrapyard. When you had that AT-4 out on Quarry, I thought you were going to spin around and fire it at that guy haha. Nice wallbang kill cam!

I like the fading transaction and the song ain't half bad! :)
<3 Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.

Simplistic, and showcases the kills very nicely. Thumbs up from me. :)
That's how I like it, no ridiculous editing, just awesome clips. I appreciate it.

Thanks man, we need to play some time!

YY'ing doesn't change anything, it just allows you to "shoot faster."

No, you're right. It's useful if you were to jump off a ladder because it cancels the animation to make it possible to kill faster.

I liked the fading transitions, and I lol'd at the hitmarker trick shot becuase that always happens to you :p
I knowwww. ;___; Thanks by the way.

Is it weird that I like single model more than akimbo?

God I enjoy sniping in this game. I'm going to pick up an hd tv in a couple months and also grab an hd cap card if money permits. Also want to get Cod 4 sometime.

Nah I like single model too, because I don't feel like it's accurate when using akimbo. Only annoying thing is if I miss a shot/get hitmarkers and then die because of it >:

Meh. I'm not too good at this game. I find Black Ops much easier than this but maybe that's due to all the complete bull**** in this game. I love sniping and I'm a pretty good quickscoper if I do say so myself although I'm sure mad could school me. I have my moments sometimes. Played headquarters yesterday with some friends. tried using an RPG as my secondary. Sniping + RPGs is just too good. Got at least two triples in a few games. Search and Destroy in this game is great. It's a shame it took me so long after I got this game to play it.

Oh, I'll get at you, Wretched.

You play on PS3, Matt. :(

I don't know about schooling. I'm really just against 1v1ing in general because the concept seems stupid to me. But RPG's were my favorite in MW2! If possible, I would have Javelin or RPG as a primary and just have 20 of them.

PSM3 Rumour: Modern Warfare 3 reveal in mid-April

Source: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/295844/modern-warfare-3-gameplay-reveal-coming-next-month/

The first snippet of Modern Warfare 3 gameplay may be with us next month, according to respected UK PlayStation magazine PSM3.

According to the publication's latest issue, insider rumours say "the next in Activision's megaton FPS series will be announced in mid-April". No specific date is given.
No new engine for this game, Fourzerotwo said that it takes years to make one and to perfect it.

Well, since IW hasn't patched the SoH with snipers, we can assume they care about what players want. They won't throw a fit just because we take advantage of the game.
We could even expect official QS lobbies.

Why are you mad? Quickscoping only works against ****ty players. I never get quickscoped and I'm mediocre. Even in S&D I rarely get quickscoped.
It's like fox in melee; the capacity of a perfect player to control this mechanic is endless, but when put in the hands of even the most skilled players, it still doesn't reach it's potential, and it is overshadowed by the easier tactics of this game.

Quickscoping takes a lot more skill than most of the things in the CoD series. I don't know why they really removed it in Black Ops, it's one of the reasons I don't like the game. Well that and because sniper rifles just straight up suck.

I'm just looking for reasons not to buy the next call of duty game.
I'll make it easy for you.

CALL OF DUTY

You're done.

I sincerely doubt that even in the next 3 years we'll have 'new' innovations to the CoD franchise. That's one of the 1ups I see on Halo, in that it's not a year after year life cycle. It's a longer life cycle which usually results in a new engine for the next game down the line. Of course, that's not always true, but is a generally true statement (Halo comes out years later than previous release, CoD year after year).

Does that mean I'll never play a CoD again? Probably not. I might rent it and try out. I had no intention of buying BlOps, but after a rental, I really liked that one.

I don't think Wretched understands how quickscoping works. Then again, I hate quickscoping so I'd rather just talk about something else.

I completely understand how quickscoping works.
Plays often use sleight of hand to scope in faster with a sniper rifle, then a sweeping motion is used to move to the target, wherein the game's aim assist in combination with the speed of the sweep make it viable to snipe people in short amounts of time, and having to wait for a breath to settle or for your cross hair to slow down is a thing of the past.

Aim assist is hilarious. I've had numerous occasion where my view moves to the side and I know someone's on the other side of the wall because of it and never would have known otherwise.

@ - I know :(, that's too bad.

And I like Quickscopping (I can't do it myself, but I find it entertaining to watch, and props to the players who can pull it off well.)

I actually found myself quickscoping somewhat successfully when I went back and played this again within the last week. But eventually I wasn't doing so good at it :/

I still have trouble keeping up with fully autos in non-search game modes when quickscoping D:
Well, you could always not quick-scope and snipe them the traditional way. I really don't get why people like quickscoping anyway, I tried it and it really isn't that fun.

IDK if I ever posted it in here, but my friend got the game winning kill cam with a fire hydrant killing the person, it was amazing.

You trollishly trollish troll. You knew what I was talking about. P:

I was saying that you only assume that ****ty players get quickscoped. You also implied that it's more prevalent in SnD which isn't really true.

Most of my deaths in S&D involve snipers, 9/10 times. Prolly 1/10 of my deaths in groundwar/domination/demolition are from snipers.
Maybe its the way I play, but it seems to be that sniping is much more prevalent in S&D, but I could be wrong.
Also, in most cases, I find that better players get quickscoped, but it happens much more to the ****tier players because they enable mediocre players to think they're good.

Traditional way? I find it pretty boring just looking through my scope for years trying to pick people off. I feel like with quick scoping, I'm doing something that takes more skill than most of the other stuff in the game and having fun and being fast paced. There's just that great feeling I get when I kill the UMP-er with my sniper :D And if I went back to sniping "the traditional way" I wouldn't get better at quickscoping.

Honestly I don't think quickscoping takes that much skill, considering what Wretched said, it relies on taking advantage of aim assist. Not that I'm saying it takes skill to get kills with the other guns. What annoys me about it is while I'm shooting a quickscoper, yet even while he's in the process of getting wounded, he somehow quickscopes me anyway, it just seems cheap IMO.

Is there a way to take off aim assist? I'd be curious to see how it affects my quickscoping. I mean I could be wrong but doing the quick drag scopes over the person don't seem to rely on aim assist that much to me. I could be wrong I suppose. And even if aim assist gave it a large advantage I still consider it more skillful than running around my the UMP or noob tubes.

Yes, go to options and you will see an aim assist on/off option.

Also, I will die if it makes you better at quickscoping.
