Juggleguy and TCB both have made really good picks so far.

This has been a lot of fun so far. We're just running the draft in a Facebook thread on the NorCal FB group. It's interesting to see who people value more and who is seen as a risky gamble.

This seems really interesting. It's funny to look at the picks because it's obvious a lot of people didn't have much of a strategy going in. Lots of WC players being picked over comparable (or even better) EC players, which you would expect from a draft organized by a NorCal group. But going into the draft, I would want to take advantage of that (though admittedly it is more fun rooting for players & teams that you like in fantasy. But with money on the line...) Choose the best you can get from WC, then take some EC/international players for a steal.

Your east coast bias isn't anymore objective than our west coast bias. Let the results speak for themselves.

I'm completely unbiased - I've played fantasy sports before so I am already aware of these strategies. I just mentioned what my strategy would be: take advantage of how other people will draft. This is completely from a fantasy standpoint, not an EC vs. WC standpoint -.-

FYI, I would take Mango first, but you're from Cali so of course you'd get defensive about their drafting tendencies.

Edit: For example, if I was doing a draft with a bunch of EC players, I wouldn't want to set my sights on EC players because there'd be more competition for them. I could get WC players for a better price. I just thought it was funny to note, because the bias is clear. It works both ways - it has nothing to do with EC/WC.

But, like I said before, it's more fun rooting for players that you know/like which influences a lot of the picks. I just wanted to make a mention of it.

Yeah I thought it looked like you made some good picks. Vwins was a good call, and Crimson also got Wobbles at a good time (neither of those are EC players! I swear I'm not just spouting EC bias haha). I'm looking forward to seeing the final teams to see if I can spot which one I think is the best.

I do have to admit none of the teams seems too lopsided just yet. I'm looking forward to seeing how this all turns out =D
