On a total side note not to be greedyish, I think you should take me out of the DDD category and put me as an OR for Metaknight.

Lets not forget that I have a winning record against every mk user in southern ontario.

( I'm 2-1 in ditto sets with ace, 1-0 with joe, 2-0 with hype ( it was the april pownz / june pownz], and 2-1 with brose).

Thats for mk dittos, and I'd like to think that i've beaten everyone on our pr with mk too, so I'd say I have matchup experience.

Hype should be an OR too, and possibly to joe, those 4 mks are like.. Pretty much equal in skill level.

Beat him at next tourney and prove us it was not just the LCD screen in those sets, then il be 100% with you : D Otherwise, Kingace is too consistent to get 2nd to anyone else.

Vwins is the best ZSS and by far.

Mar1 for best DK.

Kingkong for best bowser.

Stroumbert for best falco.

(EDIT: to be successful) this board needs panelists from across the nation, this seems very ontario heavy, and it may be true that all the talent lies here, but i think a lot of great players from other provinces are being left out.

I agree with this, we need some non biased panelists.

Fool imo is better than you at the mk matchup ( which is a crucial matchup, he beat joe and you've yet to beat him ), he beat ambroses ics ( you've yet to do this ), and he beat percons kirby ( you've yet to do this, as of recent that is ).

I will give you credit for beating me in 2 sets of 7, and for outplacing fool most of the time, but as it stands..

Fool has remarkable achievements and is definitely an "OR" in that category, Its about 55-45 your favour, but he is still to be considered one of the best in the country. :)

I have many more accomplishments (especially with travel) and better records with the top players. I also beat Percon's kirby with falco (something Fool switched for) Also, outside of him beating Joe that one time, I have a better record vs all the MK players. This is all while placing better.

So like..... Yeah.

who did brose beat with GW? i beat Hype recently, and my doubles record with GW is strong,i dont even consider myself best GW btw(Ally imo) im just wondering

come to think of it...Ally could take alot of these lol

Ok tbh records dont mean all that much because half of it is over very old tourneys and do not represent your current skill level. Also, placings do matter but having done X placing 8 months ago does not mean much if your region has many tourneys and you dont place recently. Having 20 5th place does not mean all that much either if you want to 200 tourneys. Its really about current placings and how you are doing right now, not all about past achievements which go back to really long ago.


However keep in mind some other regions do not have as many tourneys. Quebec has only so many tourneys, so we judge with what we have >.<

For best brawl mains I call dibs on a panelist spot.

It should be 2 from ontario, 2 from montreal, 2 from west coast.

I am NOT biased otherwise I'd claim like 7 spots, I only want to be known for diddy, but I feel it is fair I have a chance for mk but I do have to prove a bit more.

But definitely agreed with sauc3 ontario is getting greedy, so iliad and I for ontario panelists, swordgard and holy for montreal, llumys and alphicans for west coast?

We will have to make rules on what chars you can get(like you need to play em in tourney or something).

this is silly

even with panelists, the fact remains that there is not nearly enough data comparing WC to EC. until a national-scale tournament happens there really isn't much point, and once that happens there might not even be a need for panelists (although i'm not saying it'd be a bad idea)

Not really, because the discussion has only taken EC into account so far, except for the spots that aren't taken by anybody there. WC is being left in the dust. This way, there will actually be somewhat equal representation instead of having EC decide everything.

WC is being taken into account. You Alberta guys just don't seem to understand that EC is A LOT better than most of WC.

I do understand that. >.> But personally, I've made my case of why I should be considered for best Yoshi, and not a single EC player has acknowledged it. Maybe it's just because nobody cares about low tiers, but it still seems like the discussion is virtually all about EC.

Alright. Myself + Doc for ontario panelists.

Holy + Swordgard(This one MAY be swapped out, as fact of the matter is, Sword is one of the most biased individuals on this board, and I can't believe that wasn't apparent) for Montreal panelists (If they choose to accept.)

Alphicans + Llumys for West Coast (Yeah you're ****ing west coast. In canada, anything left of Ontario is West coast.) if they choose to accept.

Optional panelists if they so choose: Percon, Ally, Superboom, Minus
