I don't even find Inui to be particularly stupid when it comes to his thoughts about Ike. Yes, I heavily disagree with what he has to say about Ike. But you know what? He actually PICKED UP the character, USED HIM to some degree of success and proficiency in tourneys and then said "Hey you know what, Ike is bottom 5." I don't agree with what he says but I will defend his right to say it, if only because he has shown that he deserves to voice his opinion.

Opinions, however, are not rights. They are privileges. Don't be foolish enough to think otherwise. If you don't use Ike, haven't used Ike (oh wait, sorry, he's your "strong secondary"), and the best you can say about Ike is that he has slow moves (yes, I have Ike's frame data memorized too!) then kindly shut the **** up.

I would, but I'm trying to keep my blood pressure level low. Stupid people seem to raise it rather quickly.

He's stupid. He's a troll. Everyone should place him on their ignore list until he's banned. Anyone who takes him seriously should be laughed off of the board. Any character board that listens to him at all for MU discussions are seriously hampering themselves and their metagame developement (poor Mario board, and G&W board IIRC). End of discussion.

I'm not so much angry at A2 as I am flat out embarrassed for him. I would have assumed that most people would, typically, shut up about a character they don't play. It's basic common sense. Of course this guy posts about how he's some amazing player in every one of his posts so it clearly doesn't apply to him.

I dunno. If you pm him, he might tell you ahead of time. He first mentioned it in the 11th(?) episode of the Play2Win podcast. He's been posting about it a bit as well.

Uh, yeah, I guess. I still play Ike a whole lot though... And I've recently begun to try to pick up the Ice Climbers.

EDIT: I've also been considering just dropping them all and switching to MK... <_<;; Well, I'd still play them for fun I guess, but yeah...

A2 isn't a troll, but a heavy theorycrafter. The type that looks a frame data and says "this works" and is pretty vague from there. You can say he's the type that's "living towards the future" rather than the present. That doesn't stop him from over-stating his opinions however. He does present alot of work though. For Mario he presented Sliding U-Smash (and advocates it heavily), and G&W he presented the revolutionary bucket brake. He just has strong opinions on certain characters, particularly ones that doesn't have 100 options per situations.

On a side note, this Dash Cancel AT is going to be revolutionary.

I'm sorry, I consider anyone who goes around in every MU discussion with Ike going "You can just PS all of his attacks and predict the jab." to not be theorycrafting, but trolling. He's presenting it as fact (Even though I have never heard of an Ike shut down by someone PS camping. Not even someone at the top of the game like Ally did that to Doom. It doesn't happen, it's irrelevant.), will not shut up about his "facts" He doesn't use Ike or Kirby, what the flip was he doing in our MU discussion if he wasn't trolling?

Heck, the PSing discussion itself is a heavy flaw. It happens in matches yes, but you don't base your whole MU discussion about how easy it is to PS a character. Nobody can ever do it consistently, why act like everyone can? It's irrelevant to a real MU discussion, and yet he can't seem to figure that out.

Me? I theorycraft a lot yes, but I don't go around to other character board's MUs where I don't know either character well, and then claim it's heavily in one character's favor...every time that character is in a MU discussion. He needs a good hit of the head with the ban hammer to get that point across. I know my area of knowledge, I stay within that realm. He doesn't.

If your a Junior, you can still take it again at the start of Senior year. But for the colleges you told me about over IM, that should be just enough. Believe me when I say that CUNY colleges often have low standards. And if I fail at transferring into one, then I'll just quit college overall:laugh:.

And I guess I should stop lurking also, just don't see any place where I should make a comment

Fortunately, SAT scores aren't the only thing that colleges look at. Also helps to have a well written recommendation letter. It was only because of that, that I got accepted into the EOP program at a SUNY college, meaning an additional $2.2k and access to certain utilities on campus.

If anything, they should accept you. In my high school, my score of 1560 was considered high, everyone else scored around 1100 and still managed to get into decent colleges.

As long as Red doesn't plan on applying to say...NYC or Cornell, that SAT score should be fine I guess...unless your GPA sucks as well or you aren't ranked well enough in your class.

I'm guessing Red didn't put much effort into prepping for this. Unlike some other azn on these boards who claims he's studying for the SAT, but never is cause he's too busy jacking off to ridiculous azn porn.

that way they can go to cornell, and then they can play with san, and than they can come to my tourneys, and go double ike on people. madd lolz.

Brett beat me in every category...EVEN MATH.
Meh, I'm one of those people that get tired of school by their Junior year, my GPA is OK....I think. It's not too bad compared to my friends who already got accepted into decent colleges with lower SAT scores than me >_>
I should be fine :D

Well I wouldn't blame you for your scores. NYC education is kinda...eh. The language programs are lacking too. Especially in my old High school. We were taught french by a jewish woman, who was mysteriously replaced by a german spanish teacher. We had japanese also, but the most that was taught was Toiru wo doko desu ka? Translation: Where's the toilet
