Apex predictions

PREEDIKSHUNS: Axe destroys everyone in unbelievable fashion, then Ken Hoang descends from the ceiling in Gary Oak garb saying that he's already beaten the Elite Four and become the champion. Axe pulls out a monumental victory with a risky Thunder in game five.

But seriously, despite what I said earlier in the topic, I'll go ahead and make two actual predictions.

1. Ice gets at least T5. There's some real talent there and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he can down some of the finest. He was looking mighty fine on the stream.
2. One of the Big Five (Mango/Armada/PP/Hbox/M2K) does NOT get at least T5. If ever there was a tourney that was so stacked that it was plausible that one of these five could get knocked out early even on top form and playing their best, this is it.

If I had to guess GF, it'd be Mango v. Armada again, but I fully believe that anything could happen here.

m2k and hbox performance is entirely based on how the blue birds fall into the bracket. altho i think m2k is really starting to want it, he has improved alot in the last year.

I'd agree, but some would go even further and say that RoM 4 sealed the deal on the good Dr.

it means they will never ever defeat you in tournament and you can consider them officially finished forever with no hope of improvement or advancement.

So yeah b/c Mango solidly conquered PP at ROM4 it means PP has no hope of winning ever.

by no means is he incapable of winning. but i just lean towards armada and mango being the ones to do it. he has beaten them both before but i just would say they are the favored choices, both having won last match against him/my personal opinion. i wouldnt be shocked at all if he pulled it out though.

I would agree with this. He is really the only player besides those two who I think has a realistic shot at winning this.

the interesting things for me will be:

1: american/canadian spacies vs foreign sheiks

2: foreign spacies vs american/canadian non spacies

3: character specialists(axe kage linguini shroomed hugs etc) vs armada

4: m2k/hugs vs everyone

5: kage vs evreything that floats

6: wobbles vs everything that doesnt float

7: hoping armada vs hbox doesnt happen


i just really think the top 32 minus top 5 will highly depend on bracket layout, which is just part of the game i guess, hopin for the best thing so players are happy
