Seems like I'll need to ask MM or friendlys (when I lose all my money) to everyone, 2 sets in pools lol at least I'll enter to Brawl and Melee.

So many people assuming they are going 0-2 at this. I feel like a bad person saying I'm going to be first seed.

Bracket pools aren't up for debate, so we should focus on the other main thing;

Is the final bracket gonna be reset?
I, myself, would really like to see the losses to be reset. Not only is there enough time, and you remove A LOT of hype first round matches, but more importantly I think not having losses reset would make for some very bad brackets because of the big change.

Most top players don't take pools as seriously, and I think this will be very hard to get rid off during the very first national running bracket pools. Just think of the amount of times were a top player just used secondaries and happened to lose a random pool set.

That right there is the problem. If the top players don't want to take their matches seriously, then they deserve whatever comes to them. Not trying to knock on you since I would like to see the top players play as well but they should be playing as good as they can possibly play, especially considering this is THE MAJOR for Smash.

I'm assuming the top player played 2ndaries cause his consequence was small for doing it. In bracket pools it is obvious that you can't sandbag, especially not in losers.

If the top player still decides to sandbag when in losers where he can not make bracket then it is his choice.

You should be practicing your A-game in pools anyway. Why the **** would I warm up my DK when there is no point in using him throughout the rest of the tournament?

I hate stupid people that complain about stupid **** just because they are used to stupidity.

If you are doing bracket pools for time, why the hell wouldn't you do the part that saves the most time, which is cut out round 1 of bracket? That round is the longest round by a long ****, and there is no point in causing an extra 1-2 hours just for round 1 considering you are doing bracket pools for "time constraint reasons"

Although I did not make the schedule myself, only a certain amount of time is needed to be saved. The quickest method would be a double elimination bracket but that isn't very effective for a tournament with so many people (in my opinion at least)

With the current way the schedule is we are able to reset the bracket and not rush or have people come to the venue 9am to finish matches. There will actually be a good amount of free time for smashers with our current schedule so there is no need to save more time.

I want to mm the florida people I didn't get to last time due to lack of friendly tvs, and I'm getting revenge on Ryo as well. Should of had him locked up 2-0 but let him make a come back :3
