Definitely agree with M, there is no point arguing about this.

If choosing FD or Lylat is such an issue, use a 7 stage starter list.

If choosing CS or Frigate is such an issue, use a 9 stage starter list.

etc...

Once King Dedede players start dominating in tournaments with Castle Seige legal, then you might have grounds to call the stage ban-worthy.
silly.

people will just start using more mk.

silly.

ZSS, on MK anyway, can Grab, air release, into another running grab (repeat) which on stages with walkoffs means a stock loss.
that's something i didn't know. all the more reason for the stage to be banned.

In "fairness", just take the 7 starter list and let the players decide ffs.
this might not be such a bad idea.

lol I was just talking about the chaingrabs on the fat end of the cast. Dash attack locks increases the victims significantly. Not to mention grab releases.

DON'T GET GRABBED SCRUBS.

CS should be legal.

Right...

Wasn't it legal at TPoO?

How many Dededes made it into the top 8?

What about MKs?
Just pointing out, this argument is relatively silly. Australia's, tiny, we only have a couple of dedede mains across the entire continent, and I'm sure there are less than 8 people maining each character. lol

Alright I think this debate is turning silly as well and I'm stupid (although my egotism likes being called wise and being respected ^_^), so I'd like to pose the question as I haven't experienced a starter list of more than five before: is a striking system of 1-2-2-1 better than 1-3-2? I legitametely don't know.

Well, I don't think either player benefits from each method, as the striking system can typically be a battle of wit to begin with.

2-3-1 is the best I think

Also Frigate isn't bad for Snake at all, he can camp really well on the second part and the lack of an edge hardly affects his recovery at all.

I personally value Grims smash theory/ruleset opinion far higher than Attilas.

If I wanted to get better at SIMPLY PLAYING THE GAME LIKE A NORMAL PERSON, I'd probs talk to Attila though.

But seriously, A', dude stay out of the theory discussion and just win bro...
please <3

Haha sorry A', Grims actually pretty smart sometimes when he isnt trying to get wobbling legal.
And perhaps unfortunately for you, most discussions i remember that i've had on these forums with you are the ones where you say something like "you can SDI MKs tornado at like any time"
Or something.

Either way. Theorycrafting is actually for scrubs.
Lets prac up you live so close
N2C this week even?

you can DI mks tornado at any time, why do you think i get out of it all the god damn time, ask any mk i play. I fall out or jump out of tornado 90% of the time.

i know that everyones always like 'oh you cant do it look at this video' but i remain unconvinced when i always get out.

You can Sdi mk nado. Just btw.

And yeah, players always go dusrespectin'. Splice just has a little bit of thriller syndrome, although I thought that was eradicated at robocop last year...

The laser has lots of startup lag though, the mk would have to be stupid to attempt tornadoing from a far distance agasint rob. All you need to do is nado him in the face and rob's ****ed.

lulullul oh how bad this game is.

Anyway, ill confirm the ruleset by next monday.

Yeah, it's probably weight/falling speed related. My Jigglypuff gets out of Nado all the time, and I've never played a DK who can get out of it :p
It is, though mostly weight related as characters with high falling speeds receive more vertical knockback so it basically cancels out.

If you want proof you can't SDI it (outside of it having no frames where you can SDI >.>) then watch any of Mr. Doom's recent matches against MK.
If he can't SDI out nobody can.

falco is a fast faller, he isn't classified as light as such.

he can airdodge through it pretty consistently too. or at least, i can.

Falco is barely heavier than MK and Pikachu, and is the same weight as Olimar.
He's definitely light.

What relevance does his fall speed have to his weight?
