Well whether i agree with it or not, it isnt fundamentally flawed and I think we should do the unity ruleset seeing as it is the "Unity" ruleset, its not flawed and it'd be good to follow the designated ruleset to make things a little more professional.

I would like to use the Unity stagelist for all tournaments

Grim it may not be ideal but unity is always a good thing. If everyone uses it then when it's changed for the better everyone should follow no?

Then again it's the American ruleset and they've made it clear many times nobody else should have a say in it so idk.

I think its a great stagelist

I mean what we are using for ACL is pretty close to what i think is the best stagelist. Coz Brinstar and Picto should be banned
I could then say Unity with Brinstar and Picto banned, but that wrecks the "unity" thing a bit, but id be for it if they got rid of those two even
more so.

For variety yet amazing fairness equilibrium, the Unity Ruleset sure does get me pumped! Perhaps I just love the starters like that (something I've never really thought much about) or really feel like playing on PS2 right but man oh man~!!

PS2 actually is kinda legit as a CP (not a starter ><) - (but i dont mind, most people wont be persuaded and its not the most blatantly obviously necessary inclusion so its fine)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we should just abolish and never look at the Unity rule-set again. I just don't think we should feel obliged to follow it when most of the players here wouldn't even agree with it.

Conservatives will dislike the counter-picks and liberals will dislike the starter list.

Coin mode would be uber legit if it wasn't for Ice Climbers.

i think ps2 is more legit than cs...

i kinda like the unity ruleset, with the exception of perhaps brinstar... if brinstar is there, japes should be too.

i felt a little too restricted in stage choices at the monthly, made me want more cps...

and im not "feeling obliged" I legitimately feel its great stagelist (exceptions: Brinstar, Picto)
Unity is certain a big factor but a list cant ride on that alone
In this case the list is pretty great and Unity is the bonus

Seriously, the unity ruleset is good and i certainly feel there are not enough stages to CP anymore (agreeing with 'tila)

The reason liberal players wouldn't like it is because there are only 5 starters and one of them is FD, pretty simple. :/

FD replaces PS1 pretty well.
FD is better than PS1 for balance issues within the top 5.

global lgl is fine - 50 is a hell of a lot of ledge grabs.
