I want to pick up Melee too

Today was a glorious day. Played Melee after getting the disc yesterday and wtfpwned my first Lv9 CPU.

Soon enough I then noticed that CPU's suck, so I went to training mode.

I just worked on the simple mechanics like L-Canceling, Wavedashing, Grabbing and seeing possible attacks during hitstun, etc.

Melee is so much fun.

the best way to practice by yourself is to do a vs battle with infinite time, you can only do this if u have a second controller tho since u cant really do much practicing when u got an annoying pc bothering u

Just got home. Many hours were spent in one car or another this weekend, but it was waaay more fun than chillin at home so that's cool with me.

Good to see various people again - hbox, colin, queen, dop, hiroshi, zorro + other people whose names haven't yet occurred to me in the past 5 seconds. GGs all - hopefully next time I get to play you guys (TO4?) I'll be less rusty.

Zorro, you need to be less good at peach vs link - I haven't gotten to regularly practice that matchup since larry stopped playing, it's not fair that you get to play it whenever you want.

Many, MANY thanks to hbox for the floor/couch to crash on theses past few days, and to finch for the ride to linguini's (6 hours to and from orlando + the trip to south fl would have been excessive).
