All those first forms look terrible. The grass ones legs are just stupid too lol. They all look like cartoony doodles that one might draw in their schoolbooks with no thought of the final product.

The final form for water looks fine though, fine with that.

The grass one looks silly to me... I don't like it at all. It's like dragonair gone wrong + grass type.

The fire pig looks like something out of wind waker. It's... weird.

Dude, it's an ankylosaurus. It's awesome. Better than Smugleaf's second anyway. Dissapointed tbh, Might end up choosing the ugly water *******-child, because his final form is actually pretty cool. The fire one's not too bad, but grass is very 'eh'

Yeah Ricky, I disagree with you there. Grotle's not that horrid. Combusken looks worse imo. Blaziken and Torchic's designs are fine, but the look of Combusken never sat well with me... His head just doesn't look right.

The "confirmed" starters are growing on me. Still going with water, naming him Poseidon or Odin. =3

Any speculation on what y'all think the shiny variations might be?

Is there even a point to deciding on a team before a game comes out when, a) you don't know what all the new pokemon are, or b) their stats/abilities?

I decided on my team because I can. That being said, there are over 50 pokemon who are unannounced, so they're pretty interchangable. I do know that Wotter, Gochiruzeru and Tusk dragon are going on that team no matter what.

I like: the green fish on page 3 (they are a bit derivative of Carvanha though); the sarcophagus, dinosaur, and spider from page 4; the (IMO) Tauros evo from page 5; and oh...the evos are legit. fuuuu

Also, some of the legendary typings are sweet.

Trio will likely be the Steel/fighting, rock/fighting and grass fighting types
Finally a pure flying type, and its a legendary too.
Ice/Dragon will probably be the third game mascot.
And we finally get a Bug legendary.

#633 through #635 are a Dark/Dragon-type evolution chain: Pseudo ubers, gonna be ****ing cool. Typing is pretty average though, neither actually covers the others weaknesses. Bug/Dragon/Ice/Fighting errrr

#640 is a Grass/Fighting-type Legendary
#641 is a Pure Flying-type Legendary: **** yeah. 8D

Also. I'm still loving the idea of a bug/steel legend. Combines my 2 fav types (has nothing to do with scizor).
