Regardless of character match-ups, you guys switched your mains and picked snake to ensure your victory. That's exactly what I did.

Fun tourney but I lost to 2 D3's which I thought I was pritty decent against.

Kirby is still too good. Most fun character in brawl.

TBH I didnt really care about our MM's inui. After the first match when I was beating you and then got up+bed to my death on the SV platform at 40 I gave up.

You won the snake ones though, I just lose my patience too easily from camping. Also dont know why I DI down whenever I get ftilted, its like a habit, I shouldnt be dieing at 110 from a ftilt.

I think there's something inherently wrong with telling him he's not a top player solely due to that fact, seeing as how you say you ARE a top player. I think the better response to his post, coming from you, would have been "no johns", or since you don't like that expression, something else to have the same effect.

My mom is really stressing about me getting into college, so I dont think I'll be able to go to gigs until March, mabye even later. I dont know about hosting a tourney either. >_>

I still think Snake is a pretty untapped character though as far as what you can REALLY do with him. I have trouble consistently winning with snake because I'm too busy experimenting.

Outplacing someone in one tournament doesn't mean you're better than them. I outplace Atomsk frequently and I recently outplaced teh_spamerer, and I am not better than them.

"No johns" is stupid. He provided his reason for getting demolished in our first MM. That is why I said he has a ways to go as a player. The reason itself, not his skill or anything like that.

Having the attitude of "oh man I got gimped now I can't win" is going to hold him back a lot. Around September I got over such stupid thoughts and attitudes and that's when I became a top player.

I SD'd at 40% with Snake in the first match of that MM set and I still won.

DON'T GIVE UP.

CO18 isn't a top player. He has a solid Dedede from what I saw and he does well in FL, but he really needs to travel or actually beat OOS players when they come there.

If I based how good he was based solely on my MMs with him...I'd say he's average or even below average, but that's obviously not true. I can look at the big picture.

My mom doesnt care about the money even if I have a good chance of winning XP. My moms like hoover **** you cant budge that ish. I basically gotta just make good grades and butter her up as much as possible. So Im just gonna hold out and bide my time.

I was just referring generally to all the characters I mentioned. That while in theory Snake may have an edge it doesn't turn out that way. I guess we're not arguing about the same thing anwyay. Nevermind.
