Well, I could tell you the short story, or the long one, but since I care to much about myself, I'll tell the long one.

So I am going to my first tourney soon, and I needed a new tag, since TKD was going to be there/ he already has my original. So I was thinking, and I decided "Aphex" would be pretty cool and I decided to go with that. I got this name from the critically acclaimed electronic artist "Aphex Twin" [as a fellow electronic music writer, I admire his work] {note: don't look him up on youtube though, because the stuff that shows up is his commercialized stuff, which isn't nearly as good as his other stuff}.

So in order to tie the name into my smashboards account I chose his debut album [and generally considered his best album] Selected Ambient Works 85-92 as my avatar. However, I am fairly certain that few people (if any) will make the connection as he is pretty obscure.

Yesterday at my tourney I was gonna MM lain in a Marth ditto but then I couldn't find him, I think he was smoking.

It's difficult to find that kid whenever you want to. I lost track of him about 8 times at The Competition...but it was easy to find him because he'd always hang around certain people.

it's more like we don't ban anything unless we think it's completely broken, it's always been that way w/ the MW

i'd argue that we put the most effort towards letting the game exercise its "natural growth" in terms of metagame...a wide variety of stages tests player ability + fosters creative strategies imho. norfair isn't even that bad...it's just a CP for select characters. some ppl call this "fighting the stage" rather than "fighting the character" but if the stage is part of the game then why not learn to fight it as well? obv you can argue this way for every stage but we choose to eliminate those stages for certain reasons whether it be time, uncontrollable random factors, game-breaking factors, etc.

in other news take got 7th at LAST3? I want a report =P
