only certain people can play marth throughout a whole tourney :X

You guys don't seem to understand how great this FOW kid is, I've seen him on livestream, he plays ness fast as **** and he's ridiculously good. He's taken a set off one of the top 5 MK players, Tyrant

he always gets them to 120% and backthrows, The end.

I guess he "doesn't get grabbed" himself VS. Marth

It wasn't in pools, it was in crews.

So I'm guessing Inui was playing MK.

FOW is definitely the best Ness in the world so it's not that surprising but still... it's Ness.

junk i have a question for you.
where do you find out where all the tournaments are in california?
i've looked around the tournament listings and regional zones here for tournaments and i can only find 2.
aib isn't much help either.

you see, i just finished moving to a city called pomona. it's about a hour away from all the big cities like los angeles. i'm trying to find all the tournaments and smashfests i can go to. but i can't find them.

AiB isn't much help? You are horrible at searching.....

Go to google maps, find all cities with 15 minutes of you. Search AIB for "in my state" and look for those cities. Can't find any? Looks like you'll need to start up a smash scene, start hosting, or drive for an hour.

All the tourneys I go to are 20-30 minute drives away, I'm hoping to speak with Dao about us switching off weekly and each of us hosting since we're like 15 minutes from eachother, and I think his plan is to do weeklies... but I also want to help support my friend whos losing his house... :/

i search california brawl tournaments and all get are outdated tournaments in california that already happened.
and i'm willing to drive for an hour. i just need to find some first.

i'll try google maps.

EDIT: i'm a idiot. i just finished looking at aib's tournament listings and i found a whole lot of tournaments. i'm bad at searching. lol.

I'll have to make that, eh? Which means... lessee... brushing up on matchups and counterpicking, I guess. Any tips on preparing for one's first tourney/in-person brawling of any sort? XD

i might be going to my first tourney/in-person brawl.

all i can say is good luck and read up on match-ups.

IIRC on AiB there are two categories: upcoming and past on your right. Make sure you don't check past and check upcoming in the future lol.

Oh, and FOW is most certainly Full Of Win (such a good Ness). Now all we need to do is get Chip to **** Inui as well, considering how much TL trash talk he makes lol (he said he'd mm him at Genesis).

Chaotic? Yeah, Chaotic is awesome : ) but he kinda lives 2 hours out of the way so getting to lots of tournies for him isn't ideal

he has 2 stock vs 1 stock 0% dehf, does the death spike, but instead of just regrabbing the ledge he goes for a gimp kill, messes up dehf survives, then dehf proceeds to take out his 2 stock and 1 more off the next guy.

It's kind of weird, but...

The Ness vs. MK match-up, is better than the Marth vs. MK match-up. So technically, it would be more impressive if he was beating the MKs with Marth instead of Ness. 0_o

Not trying to knock FOW, or anything though, he is still ****.

Hahaha I lost to sushi-man.

Kadaj needs to teach me to fight Meta Knight at HERB 2.


Oh yeah and I'm still slightly ahead of NC in terms of skill(when they're not playing Meta Knight vs me, which is rare).
