All I do is WiFi, I can hold my own. He doesn't CG with Dedede because except a few that are extremely frame tight or done a certain way, he says it doesn't require practice. So why practice the chaingrab if he can practice other aspects of his playing? Yea, it'd make him win more on WiFi and such and probably beat me more often but it's how he practices. He gets extra practice on other aspects of his gameplay if he's not racking up 20% + every time he gets a grab.
He doesn't know ranked players because he only knows a few. Sheesh, I didn't even know the ranked players because truthfully I don't really give a ****. I know who I know from my experience and from my friends experience. I don't care if I beat a ranked player, a pro, or some random scrub so long as I advanced to the next bracket.
I can't even name the top 5 of the SoCal PR. Guess where I'm from? Do I go to tourneys? Yes, especially more-so since I got a new friend+ride (Bam). Besides 5-6 tourneys for Brawl, I'm 100% online experience besides Bam. I've beaten players I've heard of, I've come close to beating players I've heard of, and I've been ***** by a few. (Looks over at Bardull) but just because my experience comes from playing online does not mean I suck.
I actually think he has no tourney experience. Not sure if he's gone to any locals, he says he's going to try, he asked me to brawl him a bit as practice before he went to a tourney so I'm not sure if hes planning to go to it or not.
Also if I hear the "wifi" excuse one more time, I'm just going to start ignoring it. <_< WiFi affects both players. Mistakes are generally really obvious - especially spacing errors. Hell, I've won a few matches against Raimundo that I know for certain if it weren't for WiFi he'd had won. You can still tell player skill from WiFi - especially if that's most of what you do and you are against someone who is also adapted to WiFi. If you are facing someone who is not accustomed to WiFi - they could be one of the best in the nation and still lose only because it's WiFi. But that does not make the winner of said match good.
I don't care if he has your respect, but I feel I'm also being called a random and a noob and such - considering Raimundo is near my level. (Don't tell me I can't accurately judge from WiFi....)
EDIT:
Anyways, rereading what he said he saw a few things from your vid and took them with him. Meaning he learned a few things from you. He said you aren't bad, and also his definition of good is Co18, Atomsk and the likes. Which obviously since your not really a D3 main shouldn't mean much to you that he said that.
