One thing I feel those who still believe in the console wars don't get is that Nintendo fans KNOW Nintendo's hardware is garbage. It is an undisputed fact. The exclusives and gimmicks are what makes Nintendo Nintendo.

In my final years of school, my best friend was a lot younger than me (by about 6 or 7 years I think?) and I introduced him to Smash Ultimate. He picked up the mechanics quicky and we soon got on equal footing, that being said, he was a sore loser and very spammy. I may have ignited the flames of him being a sore loser by playing as ridiculous Miis and choosing Mr. G&W every time he played as Ness.
You can tell a lot about a news source by what words they put quotation marks around in article titles.
Is it just me or did every PS1 mascot have a REALLY rough transition to the PS2? Enter the Dragonfly, Angel of Darkness, Wrath of Cortex - the only big PS1 star I can think of who's PS2 outing can compare to the initial PS1 games is PaRappa.

The Chicken Run 2 recasts are a right shame, but unfortunately super common in animation. I can however say with confidence it was a Netflix decision, not Aardman. I don't plan to boycott the film (my stance on boycotts has always been rather simple, "if it's a quality product, support 'em") but if they don't get Julia to reprise Ginger it'll be just the slightest bit awkward of an experience. Playing through Dynamite Headdy - a game I feel is somehow overlooked and overrated at the same time, it deserves way more attention as it is a quality title, but it absolutely isn't one of the best platformers of the 16 bit era as people say, even on the Japanese version. Platforming is great but bosses are pretty bad, which would be OK if it weren't for the fact a lot of this game's meat is the bosses

Being a Counter Throw using Mii Brawler main when Byleth was new was an absolute experience. Miis are Byleth's mortal enemy in more ways than one.
When I was in my early teens I expressed all my angst not with MCR or Linkin Park, but the Donkey Kong Country 2 soundtrack. I was a weird early teenager, and I'm sure I'm a weird late teenager now, despite not realising it.

I'm generally against clone characters in Mario games, but having Wiggler and Angry Wiggler as separate characters would be pretty cool.

I'm guessing it means another indie crossover like Cadence of Hyrule. Best guess would be a Metroid game given WayForward's uh... thing for skimply dressed females.... but I'd love them to give the DuckTales Remastered treatment to Drill Dozer (as long as they don't age up Jill)
Toad is a really weird character design but nobody really questions it because they're so used to his existence. It's like they wanted to make Aladdin and Hello Kitty at the same time.

I wish games would still do fun stuff in their localisations instead of directly translating the text with a few localisations here and there.
When I click a video called "I made Megalovania with real human bones", I just expect to hear Megalovania made with real human bones, not a 5 minute long explanation of how you got the bones and sampled their rattling, followed up by 30 seconds of Megalovania made with real human bones.
The way I'd handle a Cuphead TV show would just be SpongeBob with an anime fight scene in every episode.
Ultimate is lacking a niche 1st party retro. Muddy Mole would be my immediate choice, but if it had to be a Black Box NES character I'd choose Bubbles or Excitebiker.
If you think Melee and 64 are "objectively" the only good competitive Smash games just because of increased complexity, I have no clue why you play/watch Smash instead of traditional fighters. It's OK if you prefer the HAL-era games for that reason, but you can't just act like Wii U and Ultimate are terrible competitive games just because they're slower - elitism does nothing more but breed counter-elitism.
I am unreasonably enraged by the Spirit list calling Duck Hunt a series, but Hogan's Alley and Wild Gunman (which both also have Vs. versions) as their own games.

Hey Beter, and deep fried memes in general, have been dead for like 3 years now, yet I still refer to Family Guy characters with B as the first letter of their name out of habit.
It will always be funny to me that Puyo Puyo Tetris is rated E10+ - I mean, I get why, there's a character whose whole personality is barely subtle sex jokes - but still, seeing "E10+" on the same box as "Tetris" is funny either way.
If I were a celebrity or CEO of a big corporation, I'd have it so when voting season comes around, instead of posting that cliche, obligatory "go vote!" message, I'd say "hey kids, we need a Noocracy!"

Min Min isn't really that fun to me, but I don't regret my purchase because Spring Stadium is a really fun stage.
I can't help but feel sorry for people who get in sex scandals because people often use them as excuses to do and say horrible stuff and get away with it under the flimsy guise of "karma". Absolutely not condoning the actions that lead to this, but it's still pretty disturbing to see the whole internet gang up on one person, "deserved" or otherwise.
I'm thinking of opening a thread to discuss the validity of the term "meme pick", specifically when it comes to characters from viral games and spin-offs of major franchises. -
