One of the weirdest things I discovered when I first started using the internet was the amount of people who dislike Scrappy Doo.

When I was a kid I thought Scrappy was cool.

There’s this old sprite animated smash parody called Smash Kingdom. It got a sequel called Smash Kingdom Melee.

Around the time of Brawl the guy who made those was going to make a Smash Kingdom Brawl, but he lost interest in doing sprite animations before he could finish it.

So he released the skits he was able to finish before then and called it Smash Kingdom The Lost Levels.

I wonder what an actual Smash Bros game would have to do to make Lost Levels a fitting subtitle.

Imagine if Pizza Tower 2 had voice acting and the voice of Peppino was Charles Martinet.

You may or may not be aware, but in Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg you could hatch other Sega characters like Sonic and Nights into helping you out.

Watch the undeniable confirmation that Bayonetta is owned by Sega come from her being a character you can hatch in Billy Hatcher 2.

Welp. Youtube has now officially implemented a feature that blocks the video player from being used by anyone who uses an Adblock.

I won't lie, I have mixed feelings about this.

On the one hand ads are annoying, but on the other hand Youtube not doing a good job of supporting smaller content creators, such as video game top 10 makers like Fawful's Minion or QuarterGuy, has been a problem with the website for a long time. Or so I hear at least.

The point is, if people can no longer avoid ads while watching their vids it might help out their channels and the ad revenue those channels get.

Not going to lie, I freaked out a bit at first when I saw that Linkmain-Maybe doesn't have an avatar anymore. My initial thought was that something happened to where he got banned.

Now that I know what the actual reason for his lack of an Avatar is, I'm relieved.

You know now that the Poplins are a thing, we could have a playable character from a race based on each of the 3 power-ups from the original Super Mario Bros.

I remember for a lot of Brawl's Lifespan there were a great many people who thought that in terms of controllers when playing the game, it was the Gamecube Controller or Bust.

How many people still believe that when it comes to Smash in the modern day? I know I still prefer the Gamecube Controller but that's me. I haven't the foggiest idea how people feel about this now.

Remember how the Sega Genesis game Vectorman has fans that hope to this day for a new installment?

I wonder how those fans feel about the fact that the closest we've ever come to that is Vector the Crocodile being turned into a Robot Master in the Sonic and Mega Man Crossover Comic.

Linkmain-maybe made a post once calling out the "inferior ones" who don't like Dark Chocolate. And as a fan of Milk Chocolate myself, I certainly felt a bit of "oof" when I read that.

So, any fans here of either the Fairy Tail Anime or the Naruto Anime? The reason I ask has to do with the genre of Monster Catching Games.

In Fairy Tail, there's this type of magic called Take Over Magic. Which lets you, after making physical contact with a creature you "truly know", take on traits of that creature. Granting you transformations and abilities of that creature.

Can you imagine how many ideas could spring forth from applying that concept to a bunch of monsters available in games like Pokemon and Yo-Kai Watch? Miraidon Take Overs are the ones at the forefront of my mind right now.

The Summoning Jutsu used in Naruto could also make some neat crossover-ish ideas with this. Take the toads for example. Toad summons in Naruto can summon a variety of toads each with different personalities and levels of ability. Not unlike how the Pokemon anime treats it's signature mons.

Naruto summons could do it differently though. Like imagine a shinobi practicing summons of the Pikachu line. You could have tiny baby Pichu's be at the tadpole level of summoning, while at the peak level you'd be summoning a Gamabunta Sized Raichu.

I don't know if this is just something God of War does or if it's actually a thing in Greek Mythology, but I do remember Zeus being referred to as the King of the Gods.

Not going to lie, that title sounds a little weird since God is usually above King.

A very long time ago some misunderstood a comment I made and thought that my most wanted Death Battle was a fight between Link and Aang from Avatar the Last Airbender.

Ever since that day, I have occasionally wondered if that would actually be a good match-up.

I remember seeing a video a long time ago criticizing the weaker Pokémon in Gen 5’s roster, and the commentators were talking about Stunfisk having the type of Ground/Electric and basically saying “what kind of type match-up is that?!”

But if I’m to be honest, I think that type would work quite well for a Pokémon based around the magnetism in tectonic plates.

Criticize dubs done by 4kids all you want, I do too.

But in the Sonic X dub where Vector was going into obsessive shipper mode over Tails and Cosmo, Espio stated a huge mood when he told Vector “you should let their relationship develop naturally”.

Remember how the 4kids dub of One Piece changed the aspect of Sanji always smoking a cigarette into Sanji always having a lollipop in his mouth?

The reason that people don’t like that is because it’s an example of how 4kids tried to make the show more kid friendly, but if this was actually how it was in the original Japanese version, it probably would have been considered rather creative.

Kind of Ironic.

Next time April Fools Day comes around, Sega should release a Fang the Sniper game that’s all dark and gritty with realistic guns like what Shadow the Hedgehog was.

Of the four classical elements, Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth, my least favorite of them has always been Fire.

Don't get me wrong, it's just as capable of awesome abilities as the other 3, but I've always liked abilities and themes based on the elements of Earth, Wind, and especially Water more.

Though one of the rare cases where Fire strikes my fancy as much as the others is The Dragon Prince. I think the fact that any fire abilities in that show have to be tied to the greater whole of Sun Magic really works to it's advantage for this.

I'm a little torn here. I'm tempted to look up some research to try and figure out the answers to these riddles but if I do that would I no longer be eligible to try and guess the answers?

KneeOfJustice doing a trivia question has inspired me to think of my own.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate there are two playable characters named Ryu. We all know about the one from Street Fighter, but who is the other one?

I remember years ago when I was taking a video game programming class, and the teacher told us once that sprites are harder to animate then 3D models because model programs let you move the model around while with sprites you have to draw out every frame of the animation (something like that anyway).

I wonder if that's actually true.

So. Persona 5 fans. I got a question for ya.

You know that thing that happens on Valentines Day in the game where if you date more than 1 girl then all the characters you have the option of dating in the game gang up on you in a confrontation?

Having never played Persona 5 before, I’d like to know this. Do you have to date a certain number of girls for that to happen? Or does it happen even if you cheat on your girlfriend with as little as just 1 other girl?

Remember when Linkmain-Maybe was talking about his annoyances with how people "overestimate" Kirby's power?

Now I don't know if the Death Battle between Kirby and Majin Buu is a notable part of that, but if it is, then I certainly feel ironic.

Why? Well I used to be on a volunteer research team for Death Battle. A research team that joined together to make a top 10 video back in 2013 of Death Battles we wanted to see. We included 4 honorable mentions, and one of them was in fact Kirby vs. Buu. An idea that first started gaining traction from a member of the team talking about it in his own blogs because he thought it was a really solid idea.

So yeah, that matchup kind of got into the spotlight because of that research team I was on. Heck, the video is on my channel because I'm the one who took care of the editing process.

That makes Kirby vs. Buu the first death battle that the volunteer team had a huge impact in making happen. Hell, Kirby was originally going to fight Ditto.

You can see now why I would feel ironic if that Death Battle is a big part of Linkmain's annoyances with statements of Kirby's power. Sure I was too busy IRL at the time to actually submit any research notes for that particular episode, but still.

I have to wonder whether or not SpongeBob would like Pineapple on Pizza. The fact that he lives in a pineapple makes it seem like he’d lean pretty hard on one or the other without a grey area.

Inspired by what Linkmain-Maybe has been talking about with Kirby the past couple of days, allow me to say this.

Probably the best part about the 2nd Death Battle between Link and Cloud is how the fight scene showed Link using a ton of items from a variety of games in a really solid animation.

Especially the ones that, based on how they function in the games, one might initially picture to be rather slow in their usage. Like the Sheikah Slate or the Ocarina of Time.

We all know that Sushi is made from raw fish. But what do you call a similar dish that’s made from raw dinosaur meat instead?

Wouldn’t the most powerful weapons in ship wars be cannons?

Say what you will about Captain N The Game Master aging poorly like a bunch of 80's cartoons have, but back when it was on the air it was quite popular.

Popular enough to where part of me is surprised the series never got it's own NES game, but at the same time I acknowledge that licensing issues was probably the reason.

I do remember seeing an article online a long time ago however about passwords you could enter into the original Metroid to play as either Captain N or Princess Lana.

The article turned out to be a hoax, but it was neat at the time.
