If there was a Pokémon-only Smash game, I feel the human characters (especially from spin-offs) should be the summons, and Poké Balls should be a trapping item

I cannot pinpoint my opinions on EnchantedMob making crossover Minecraft fanimations of Huggy Wuggy while also being the creators of Huggy Wuggy - on one hand it's super cool an official developer is also willing to make fan works that tie in their creations with other properties they love, but on the other it does kinda read as a shady way to force kids into thinking Huggy Wuggy is the next big thing without having actually gained traction and fandom naturally like Sans, Steve, Freddy, and (the extremely out-of-place) Monika.
Hot take: a new Diddy Kong Racing shouldn't just not bring back Conker, but it should also exclude Banjo; Tiny; and Dixie to focus on original characters alongside Diddy and the original DKR cast. What I like about Diddy Kong Racing is that it's completely detached from the bigger series represented within with an all-original cast and tone, if it just became a mega Rareware/DK crossover with characters we already know it'd lose the appeal IMO.
Some of the fanmade remixes submitted to the Mario Smash thread have honestly been... kinda garbage. Amateur, synthy Newgrounds stuff.

If the Diddy Kong Racers get in the Mario Smash thread, I'm not sure if I want to have Tiny (a character intended from day 1 for the Mario universe), Timber (the original protagonist in development, and arguably still so in the game's plot), or Drumstick (the by-design best racer in the game and lore) be the default for my alts list - I do know that I'll submit Tiny with her DK64 design though. I have a feeling the DKR alts will be mostly minor changes like order, small character design things, maybe TT and Drumstick being swapped for Wizpig and Taj, so on. Either way, the DKR rosters (without the guests, Taj, Wizpig, or Dixie) do fit pretty snuggly into the 8 alts requirement.

A lot of people talk about how great the 90s do-wop Nickelodeon IDs were, but their equivalents from Nick at Nite were equally as awesome - they found a really good way of balancing Nick's trademark wackiness with the sincere and - as one ident puts it - pre-post-modern nature of the at-the-time-nostalgic shows these idents are trying to promote.

Ren & Stimpy's light Uair - specifically the Ren hitbox - is so cool, it's probably been the hardest part of their kit for me to use but I really want to master it.

It's kinda funny to me how the Breaking Bad memes came out around the exact time people who were kids when Breaking Bad was airing and super-hyped-up were old enough to watch Breaking Bad. Gives a very "It's been 3'000 years" vibe.

I feel that even though people outside it's fandom aren't talking about it much, NASB did have some significant yet subtle effects on Smash discussion - for one thing it certainly feels like it destigmatised wavedashing a slight bit with how simple it made the technique, but as well as that I've seen side characters getting in over protags discussed a lot more after Helga; Nigel; Reptar; only two Turtles; e.t.c. (Pyra and Mythra were probably a bigger factor in this, especially since they came before NASB's reveal, but at the very least they have a main character for their series)
The Apu controversy is weird because I feel both sides of the argument were over-exxagerating, yet I also understand both sides. On one hand, he is undeniably a stereotype and having a white person voice a person of colour is harmful and absolutely not the same situation as a man voicing a female character or adult voicing a child or what have you, but on the other hand it isn't literal blackface either (or at least not as culturally damaging as a full-on minstrel show) and Apu is one of the kindest souls in Springfield (not that that's saying much). I think it was really nice of Hank Azaria to apologise, but the response both in the show itself and from other staff members was rather poor (then again, what do you expect from modern Simpsons?) and the wait to see who his new VA is if any has gone on way too long compared to that of Carl and Dr. Hibbert.
Even though he was the one that started the whole "Smash killer" BS, I'm glad Hungrybox still puts out NASB content when major reveals and news happen.

I feel that launching without items was probably a bigger problem for NASB than a lack of VA - despite having an unwarranted rep as some strictly competitive game that "misses the point", it probably has the best mechanics and second best set of non-modded content for casual play in a platform fighter - I believe it's the only non-Smash platfighter to have a scrolling stage and big stages (I could be wrong on the latter though), and its hyper-fast hyper-aggressive gameplay is utterly perfect for kids with short attention spans who don't want to learn how to shield. Items would've made it much more accessable for Nick's core audience.
While I know arcade ports for non-mobile Western games are near-non-existant, it feels a little strange that the Nick Kart Racers games didn't get arcade ports - combine Nicktoons Racing cabinets from 2000 still being an extremely common sight at Chuck E. Cheese with GameMill having a working relationship with Raw Thrills and it seems like the best star-alignment for any console game in the past 15 years to make it to arcades.
Palutena's Temple would've been a really fun stage if it were just this portion alone
Also the spring in this stage really annoys me - they went out of their way to make the spring on Gaur Plain aesthetically fitting, so why not do the same for this stage's spring?
In the UK, we have laws against showing content for adults on children's channels - even post-watershed - so Adult Swim and Nick at Nite have never been things here, especially the latter. Thus, not having the experience of waking up in the middle of the night and seeing both on at the same time, I don't really consider Nick at Nite to be Nick's equivalent to Adult Swim, but rather Comedy Central and MTV.
I think a Dynamite Headdy remake would be super cool so long as they made it a composite of the US and JP versions - keep the boss redesigns and pop culture references from US version, being back the plot and dialogue from the JP version, and find the perfect balance between the two polar-opposite difficulties.

The only characters in NASB I actively feel "this is wrong" about the lack of voice acting for are Zim and Ren & Stimpy (especially the prior of that duo) - three characters known for screaming. Even characters with especially iconic voices like Mikey and Patrick I can ignore the silence of, but if Zim and Ren aren't screaming it certainly comes off as a bit odd. -
