Random concept for a platform fighter character

A figure made out of the darkness (most likely female due to the flowing form of darkness makes good long hair) that comes from a nebula and is responsible for the making of the world's stars. In battle, she has bad stats all around except for air mobility and she needs to create colored stars to boost her other stats (red for attack, blue for durability, yellow for speed, purple for weight, and white for recovery), she could also attack using the stars she creates sacrificing stat boosts for power.

So this exists

So hows rivals of aether, how often does it go on sale by how much, and does the DLC only cover skins or new characters, I heard it pretty good

Random thought, if Kungdom Hearts got rebooted all of a sudden and Sora traveled though Nintendo worlds instead of Disney worlds I cant picture these worlds without Donkey Kong and Dedede and their worlds having voice acting like their tv shows

We are submitting the boss for the first stage and the first safe zone/town of this new WOL, just follow the rules and have fun

I personally think that Gamefreak hates the Rock Type, think about it, the Bug and Ice types are pretty weak but the Pokemon series has clearly tries to improve them (Bug getting powerful new members in Golisopod, buffing the Kanto Bugs. Ice also gets Slush Rush and higher access to hail and became potent competitive threats in Gen 8) the Rock type dosnt get that, most attacks are either weak or poor in accuracy, they are weak to five types and most stats go in the defensive tank direction, and all the good Rock moves are signature moves. Would you agree with me

I posted this on my WOL reboot thread and Im quite proud of it, so I decided to show it to those who haven't seen this thread yet. You can also submit ideas as long as you follow the rules

My World of Light actually starts much more different than usual. It starts out peacefully with the many universes represented in smash going about their usual dealings. Kirby, Dedede, and Meta Knight chase after a cake, BOTW Link and Zelda look over the horizons over a tower, Animal Crossing Villager helps delivers mail to his buddies, Splatoon Turf War, Donkey and Diddy sleeping in the banana hourd, and the Miis having a grand festival in Miitopia (yes that area is canon in smash). Suddenly we are over the mushroom kingdom with a typical fight between Mario, Luigi, and Bowser over rescuing Peach as usual. Mario boosts Luigi up with Luigi jumping onto some goombas and generally working together to take down the King of Koopas in his airship. Pretty standard just a cutscene of a traditional Mario adventure. Suddenly in space two space bodies form on the horizon. One appears in from of the sun growing it in size causing the surrounding dimensions to become brighter, meanwhile, a shadowy sheet forms over the other horizon forming a strangely beautiful blanket of light and darkness. From the body of light comes four orbs, an orb of fire, an orb of water, an orb of the earth, and an orb of lightning. Meanwhile, the sheet of darkness summons four spears, a spear of poison, a spear of metal, a spear of wind, and a spear of wood. The orbs and spears shoot at each other causing a great light show in the night sky. Back at the fight with Mario vs Bowser they become distracted by the lights in the sky, meanwhile, Luigi is facing Jr in the barracks of the airship until Junior traps him inside a steel keg. Suddenly alarms come off as the orbs and spears suddenly shatter forming beams of light and dark. The spears' dark beams snatch up Bowser and Junior as he tries to save his papa while the orbs' light beams snatch Peach and was about to hit the trapped Luigi but Mario sacrificed himself and launched the trapped Luigi out of a cannon before the airship was destroyed. As we see other universes we view other characters scrambling with a few trying to escape, the major heroes and villains are snatched up by the beams and they are trapped in the lairs of Galeem and Darkon who want to harness the strange energy these fighters have and weaponize them to defeat each other, they dub this energy SMASHIUM. They petrify these characters and create clones of them by combining their vessels with the essence of those whose souls were ripped out by the two divine beings. A few managed to survive but now are under threat of capture by various summoned armies (Koopa Troop, Bokoblins, Kremlings, Dark Matter, and Starmen seen storming these universes alongside invading other universes such as Minecraft, Metroid, Sonic, and many others.) They now hide with a few forming small communities hoping to find a hero to break the ongoing war between the two forces. Luckily, or unluckily, Luigi survived and now wakes up in a now ravaged kingdom, suddenly he sees a pair of hands forming monsters to ravage the few surviving toads and they kidnap Toadsworth and steal his essence to be used as a puppet fighter. Luigi decides he needs to courage up and save the plighted beings from their predicament.

World of Light has faced some big changes:

Luigi is now the main character instead of Kirby.

The story will be completely rebooted, it will have the same concepts if battiel spirits summoned by Galeem and Darkon but the story is completely rebooted.

There are actual action stages with an interconnected map

The current jobs are to now submit the opening cutscene establishing the new story this game will go in and the stage which follows where that cutscene goes off.

I am now starting voting, for your choice of Kirby, Luigi, and Young Link. Hopefully after a short period we can continue the thread and start the story.

I don't want to sound like desperate begging but I really want someone to submit a character for this thread. I want to have t least three different characters in our vote as just me and a default character seems sad. If someone can follow the job rules and submit someone for this job. I'm looking for a star for World of Light Reboot, it can be anyone from the base non-DLC roster and not a Mii, Kirby is included in the votes and I submitted Luigi. I preferably want someone with a sort of underdog personality. Please enter something if you can.

The hardest part of making a game isn't the coding its the development of assests

After all these years I still don't get Porky's reason for existing in the Subspace Emmisary. I can get the other major bosses (Petey was part of the initial attack, Rayquasa was living in a lake and battled the heroes because they were encroaching on their territory, Ridley was probably a guard dog for the subspace factory and Meta Ridley was Ridley wanting revenge.) Can't find anything justifying Porky's reasoning for being there, especially since Mother 3 not being released in America would justify him not being included. Does anyone have any headcanons for his reasoning to be included

This sounds stupid but with all the controversy surrounding the Oscars and Animation I think people will start to argue wheather animation should be considered art like how video games were argued to be considered art

How's the final fantasy 5 pixel remaster, I'm interested in playing that.

So I'm making an RPG where you gain a base power and unlock more advanced versions of those powers by refining them, I wanted to use the Greek alphabet to determine the level this power is (Example Geomancy Alpha is weaker than Geomancy Beta) at but I don't want to copy earthbound, what alternative way should I label these power levels

After seeing so many melee mods I am surprised there isn't one where the remade Ness' moveset and had some of his moveset be replaced by what he learns canonically in Earthbound. Instead of PK Fire he gets paralysis and instead of Magnet he gets Hypnosis and instead of Thunder, he gets Rockin etc. And then take those moves and convert them into an echo of sorts such as Paula or Poo, since Melee doesn't have final smashes we don't have to worry about Starstorm

You know I'm surprised there hasn't been a MOBA game with 2D graphics in the style of crono trigger, link to the past, etc, I would think that would work out and be cool to play

Okay I was out on a walk and I just had a HUGE idea

A thread for a Smash Styled Trading Card Game styled thread

Basically a bunch of characters from those represented and not represented in smash get turned into a trading card game featuring classes, elements, and species, each major character has both a class (brawler, pirate, defender, swarmer) and element (fire, water, PSI, etc) and special abilities to synergize with certain minor charatcers and enemies who themselves form the deck, each enemy has different effects such as a passive boost, an attack, or a debuff to the opponent, suff like that

I really want to do this idea as a creation, the problem however is that I NEVER played a card game before and I was hoping we could work together on this thread and develop a video game crossover trading card game, please comment if you have your own ideas for this or if your interested in creating a thread like this

My brother is reading all of the diary of a wimpy kid books and it made me realsize, does anyone thing Rowley is part of the autistic spectrum, he just feels like he is to me

Personally I dont mind if the new grass starter pokemon would be bipedal, but only if they do it right, maybe make it a bard pokemon of sorts using branches and leaves to create flutes with soothing melodies, that would sound cool in my opnion

So I have been doing DVC college assignments recently and I had to watch a documentary for my sociology class about the impact and issues of toxic masculinity and it used SHARK TALE as an example of the negative impact of toxic masculinity, I don't know why I just thought it was funny they did that
