WACKY PIZZA TOWER FACT: Pepperman's his last name. His first name is Phil.
Just beat the update - Even though it's just a psuedo-New Game Plus, it was still as enjoyable as the original campaign. All the tweaks Noise puts on level mechanics/transformations, all the small details changed, pretty much everything related to the Doise. Hell, I'd wager the Noise campaign had me openly laugh more than Peppino's. So yeah, really good update.
(also got my run snotty approved which i was surprised was even possible on the noise campaign)

Builder Mario Rework
Back in 2019, I made my first-ever Smash moveset with Builder Mario; While I wouldn’t consider that moveset entirely garbage, I did want to give it a second try nearly five years later with my current stance on Smash moveset design. Knew I had to listen to this the second WaWaWa posted it in the reaction thread. Apparently it cost Infogrames $50K to make and everyone involved got fired for it.
Going off a comment I left earlier, I'd want one of my hypothetical fourth-party picks to be from the IP boasting the first licensed video game. I was expecting something like Indiana Jones, Darth Vader, ET, but nah - The Fonz. The first ever licensed video game is a Road Race reskin based on Happy Days.

Weird concept for an Icies echo; Lolo and Lala from Adventures of Lolo (yes, they appear in the Kirby franchise, but they were their own series beforehand). Fills the "retro" niche I'd want an Icies echo to have*, there's a hammer item in their games, you can easily swap out Neutral B for a egg/block projectile...

I think I've said something similar to this in the past, but honestly, I'd be fine if Spirits became the norm for Smash on the condition that they get blurbs about the characters represented like trophies do. I'd try to keep trophies around in some form (possibly as "Spirits" for the playable cast), though.

Discord recently rolled out an update where cdn.discord links will purposefully break after a 14-day period. In terms of SmashBoards, this means all image embeds using a Discord link will eventually break (if they haven't already). This obviously sucks, but I can understand it given that Discord primarily isn't a file-hosting service and criminals have been using it to host malware.
As a solution, I recommend using FileGarden. Signup is pretty quick, you get unlimited file storage, and you can easily embed images you upload there like you would a Discord image. I've only tested it a little, but it's pretty solid. Obviously, keep backing up your important files physically and don't rely entirely on outside/digital hosts, but this seems like the optimal way to keep posting funni maymays that don't come from X/Reddit/whatever.
I’ve heard that Nintendo only takes down fangames if they’re directly competing with a game they’re developing, but even that can be morally gray sometimes. AM2R and Mario Royale were both taken down despite their respective counterparts (Samus Returns and Mario 35) not even being announced yet; Doesn’t seem all that fair to the devs to ask they remove something they worked hard on because you were planning to do the same thing and didn’t tell anyone.
(yes i understand nintendo has the legal right to do this but i’m looking more at the moral side here)

Decided to update my "What Smash characters have RoA movesets" tier list from last year.
- Yoshi: Depends on whether you count Smash's Yoshi as the main Yoshi or the whole species due to the alternate colors. RoA has Big Baby Fat (Big Yoshi) and Tax Evader Yoshi, but not the Yoshi.
- Peach/Daisy: SSL movesets only.
- Zelda: CDI version as a tagteam with CDI Link.
- Charizard: A summon as part of an Ash moveset - Probably counts the least out of the bunch, but worth mentioning.
- Inkling: Similar to Yoshi in terms of species representation; However, the default Inkling girl has a SSL moveset.
- Byleth: There's a mod labeled Byleth which mirrors their SSBU moveset, but said mod is a stick figure.
