If TF2 got into Smash, I'd make the Sniper an Assist Trophy that works like Snake's Brawl Final Smash as he shoots from the foreground. Oh, and he'll try and go for insta-KO headshots.
If Steve got his tuxedo in Ultimate, there would be a very probable chance that it'd be my constant PFP. Just something to think about.

I never really get why people took issue with Snake not being very stealthy in Smash. Like... he's been spotted? There's no point in being stealthy once your opponents know where you are. Give Snake a good evasive game, sure - letting him crawl while in his box would be hilarious - but in the context of Smash, I totally understand why they went the explosive-heavy route.
Little moveset design pitch; Probably needs some workshopping.
Frisk from Undertale, specifically based on the Pacifist route. They have poor kill power and weight, but great defensive options. Their specials are mostly based on pacifism, which ties into their main mechanic - The SPARE Meter. Upon landing a special or successfully blocking/parrying/dodging an attack, the meter builds up. Upon filling the meter, Frisk's Neutral Special is replaced with a short-range insta-KO command grab meant to reflect them "sparing" the opponent (though this is only available for a short time ala Cloud's Limit moves).
Ed Mendoza on Twitter has a similar concept, but I feel like having the Spare Meter fill up from taking damage feels too comeback mechanic-y while I wanted Frisk to be a bit more cerebral, so I forgo'd it.
This is an idea I've pitched in a few threads (including Next Smash just now), but I don't think I've ever shared it in a profile post.
If I were in charge of Smash I'd probably greatly overhaul how Miis work.
I'd probably make it so a Mii's "class" is decided by a specific weapon choice that can be mixed/matched with headgear/tops which aren't fused with weapons. For example, a Sans Mii costume would have the mask, the hoodie with both hands free, and a Gaster Blaster weapon that gives the wielder Mii Gunner's moveset. This way, you could have a Swordfighter/Brawler/Mage Sans who looks like Sans, but wields the Master Sword or a Keyblade or something.
Not only would this be great for customization, but it'd also open the floor to add weapons that aren't tied to a specific character; Minecraft swords, a Zapper gun, etc.
WIP "NASB Ultimate" roster. Will post in the "Here's the keys" thread once I'm done, but I wanted to show y'all what I did so far. Green characters are intended clones of the character preceding them.
I'm trying to have at least one rep for every Nicktoon (Hodgepodge and Snap count as both reps for the "variety shows" they appear in and their actual shows), with every veteran toon getting at least one new fighter, with the exception of Rugrats because... well, beating up babies.

If I had to give Banjo a second Smash rep (which I wouldn't unless I had to; The main duo reps the series just fine), I wouldn't pick Grunty or Mumbo, but rather...
