She has a couple situational combos on some characters.

But the only thing universal is the dtilt.

Zelda doesn´t really have much true combos... most of those are D-tilt trip => something (buffered Bair for example).

You can however check out these two threads:

http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=218082
^Has frame data and D-tilt combos alongside other information

http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=196906
^^Has some tricks that can be done with Zelda, as well as other good advices.
Thanks much for those threads. I've seen the second one though.
most of her moves are GTFO moves so....... other than dtilt and usmash shenanigans im convinced she has no combos >.>
Umm... What's GTFO? xD

dtilt is the one that trips them, right?

Ok. I have more questions.

1) How good is Zelda's Spike?

2) Is Zelda's D-smash the fastest in the game? Someone told me it is... But I'm not sure...

3) Is there a thread based entirely on Zelda's Lightning Kick somewhere?

Thanks People for answering!!! :) :p

Din's has its uses. None of those are to cause damage consistently.

I basically only use Din's to edgeguard (off-stage is a scary place for Zelda.....) and force airdodges. Sometimes to kill if they airdodge/try to recover near the edge or the top.

Oh, and I've broken shields with it before, but that's.... probably never going to happen on a really good opponent.

i usually use it to edgeguard too or as a random approach sometimes.

does anyone else make use of Dins like the wavebouncing pkfire(don't know if it was given a name)? i've been playing around with it lately, but i never see anyone else use it.

Get The **** Out, basically a move that´s good when you need to get enemy off your skin and some space between you and him.

dtilt is the one that trips them, right?
Yes, it trips every now and then.

No, at least not right now. it has been discussed very thoroughly in other threads though, most notable being the two guides and great fairy fountain.

As for Din´s fire, it´s a really great move, but not in the way that you´d be causing lots of damage or killing people frequently with it. Instead it´s best used for pressuring, surprising and forcing reactions.

But some people like and/or use it more than others like MrEh said.

Din's Fire is not a good move. It's usage, generally speaking, is inversely proportional to how skilled you are. That being said, I love Din's and I use it every chance I get (says something about how good I am...).

Are you talking about actually wavebouncing Din's or just using retreating Din's glides in general? I used to use Din's glides a lot back when people used to think they could outcamp me (outcamp me, blasphemy :chuckle:). I've never incorporated wavebounced Din's because I've never had the need (although it does seem like a neat little trick).

Bobby is amazing and all, but I wouldn't play a terrible character (in tournament) just because he does :p You guys are making it too easy for LT, when you've got like 30 Zeldas out of 35 entrants :p

Neither would I, but apparently Hawaii's got a bunch of people who would.

You could always come down and make it harder for him:chuckle:

You're but one plane ticket away my friend.

Yes Hawaii has 30 Zeldas.
No wonder Ganon seems popular as a side character...

I'm considering coming for the HSI tournament... we'll see how it works out. He thinks Wario is a terrible character, that's like a free win for me.

We actually don't have 30 Zeldas...it's probably more.

Character usage for tournaments usually looks like this....

1. MK
2. Snake
3. Marth
4. ROB
5. Zelda
6. MK
7. Zelda
8. Zelda
9. Snake
10-20. More Zelda
21-30. Even more Zelda
31-40. I assume more Zelda
41-50. Yeah...more Zelda
51. Sheik (lol SniperWorm)
52. Yoshi (lol FingerP@ss)
53. Bowser (lol Troll)

Hawaii is ********.

Hmm...

Another Question:

What should I do with Snake's Grenades?

I find them extremley difficult to deal with. They always explode when I'm near them. I know someone who is really good with Snake, and I can never beat him. LOL

personally I go sheik and needle storm that ****.

one needle will cause him to drop the 'nade and the second will detonate it on him :)

I see...
Umm... I don't use Sheik all that often, because I'm not that good with her.

You can't do anything.

Approach.
Approach cautiously.
Cautiously?

Should I perhaps use an aerial approach using N-air? Because Zelda isn't that good at approaching really... :ohwell:

Just work your way in slowly. You don't have to come in with a move.
What? Should she just stroll over there? xD

Ok, I see what you mean though. So what should I do when I get to him? Most of Snake's attacks are stronger, faster, and have more priority than Zelda's attacks.
