Smash Journeyman
Ahh I'm not a big fan of Japes, but it's definitely either that one or Frigate. *nods to Villi*

I use bair since it's a lot faster than fair. I already saw that video from lurking the Link boards and it's really the best instructional vid on DI to date. All of you Zelda mains should study it, but I still can't see why you use fair over bair.oh...my...god....
i'm not even going to start, i'll end up saying the exact same things that i said during the link vs olimar match up
all you zelda mains need to watch this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hQIy7P7RWo
i use her fair to momentum cancel
because i didnt have frame data for zelda lolI use bair since it's a lot faster than fair. I already saw that video from lurking the Link boards and it's really the best instructional vid on DI to date. All of you Zelda mains should study it, but I still can't see why you use fair over bair.
your moves turn to garbage when they're DI'd and since olimar is so light it won't help you as muchcan't olimar use the same DI >_>
Oli is heavier than Zelda.your moves turn to garbage when they're DI'd and since olimar is so light it won't help you as much
it's not that oli is heavy (which he is considering his size) it's that Zelda is too light.he is? wow so much for body size and weight matching up.
hmmm... yup. it's true. they are close in weight, but zelda is slightly heavier.check any weight list, zelda is higher than olimar
I guess I just took on faith that was a true statement... guess not. While it's true that Olimar is floaty, he isn't light- but actually middleweight.
and falco is lighter than zelda.last i checked (which was long long ago) oli was about the same weight as falco
frigate is NOT bad for oli
we can just put up our fortress and camp the side with the ledge
the platforms for each part of it help olimar tons
no ledge works against you too
i don't mind delfino, but some parts can be a little troublesome, but for the most part they all benefit him (walk-offs, water, ledges, low ceilings)
okie dokeand falco is lighter than zelda.
it's not really limiting when you're the best camper in the game >_>then zelda stakes out that side.. if you are limiting yourself to half the stage you normally would, then the stage is putting you at a disadvantage... you are losing versitility.
I´m sorry, my information was from the time Brawl was just recently released. Back then I remember reading and posts and lists that stated Olimar heavier than Zelda around the middle of the cast. I should have checked if it were even close to truth anymore...hmmm... yup. it's true. they are close in weight, but zelda is slightly heavier.
wow... then whoever said olimar was a middlewieight earlier was out of their mind, because ZELDA is light and she's heavier than oli.
I guess I just took on faith that was a true statement... guess not.
I posted this some time earlier, but I can post it again. When the stage turns into one of it´s forms with water, Olimar can easily lose his Pikmins and get edgehogged when the stage rises again. Always changing stage also severely disturbs his camping game and might give Zelda some chances for approach.Does anyone here have any idea as to why Delfino isn't good for Olimar?
I have never lost to an olimar there and I don't intend to.RC is getting really good for oli >:]
I know that Oli has Pikmincide in RC, but how else is it getting good for him? If Pikmincide is only good thing for him in that stage it definitely isn´t enough.RC is getting really good for oli >:]
he has poor approaches. To olimar, offensive means moving towards you with pikmin spam so that you still end up approaching him.he isn't offensive... how???
