lol, if YL can do it so can TL.
But TL is more adept at killing with his new up-B and deathstick.

Just never get sent off stage...

Most of the differences in 1.0 apparently benefit the low tiers, so yeah, it does make a difference.
IMO if a low tier player wants 1.0, he/she should be allowed to.

'sup Y.Link boards. I've been playing a lot of Y.Link lately, and the kid is a lot of fun to play. I love the crazy situations his projectiles set up for, and his combos are very unique. I'm definitely picking him up as my secondary.

That being said, I have a lot of trouble killing in some matchups, notably C.Falcon and Peach. What chars/%s does Dthrow/Uthrow -> Dair work, if at all?

YL isn't killing Falcon until super high percents unless he gets a gimp.
dthrow - dair works at about 100-120% against Peach.

idk if it is a true combo either, but the margin of escape seems to be small and it doesn't seem like there many legitimate ways to escape

that combo generally tends to hit because people jump into it

Yeah, I was watching that. The matches are somewhat close, despite the fact that Axe is amazing. If Axe's Y.Link has close matches with Lake, I think I might have trouble. My style is a lot campier and projectile-heavy than Axe's.

If you're campier than Axe, then you should be fine. Zelda relies a lot on those kicks OoS and in the vid you can see Axe being hit by them because he kept Nairing aggressively. If you're playing lame, Zelda can't keep up with you at all.

i agree with NJz

axe approached way too much when he didn't need to

but that's just how he plays

zelda's shield is very good vs bombs so try not to run into them if they bounce off her shield

Zelda's shield is dumb, you can throw your boomarang under it and stuff because it only covers her wee little breasts.

TheLake didn't actually show up to The Big House 2, but I did play a pretty legit Zelda in some friendlies (Falco/Zelda player from Connecticut, iirc). He ***** my Doc, but my Y.Link 2-stocked him. Seems like a pretty good MU if Y.Link doesn't try to get in close.

Zelda cant deal with camping very well. She's imobile and stupidly floaty with a slow jump.
Bait her jumps, smack her with projectile when she leaves the ground.

Zelda's like to do dumb stuff with naryu's sometimes which will deflect projectiles.

Grounded zelda likes dash attack, treat it like peach's.
