I have never played another character and never will... I think even if I wanted to pick up another character I couldn't as I'm too adjusted to playing Yoshi.

The day I quit Yoshi is the day I quit Brawl.

lol when I mess around with other chars, I still can't figure out how to use a shield. I find myself spotdodging so much that I should of just sheilded. and then sometimes I'll just spotdodge instead of shield drop because i forget that they don't have a 17 frame shield drop :p

It's the coolest thing to do atm on the jigglypuff boards. I personally quit yoshi because I was simply having more fun as peach and pikachu and I really didn't enjoy yoshi's playstyle anymore. Burntsocks wanted to use a character that would be easier for him to improve as a player and Bwett wants to place better. I've mained peach for about 6 months, splitmained pikachu for about a month and a half, Bwett has mained diddy for like 2 months, and Burntsocks just quit yoshi about three weeks ago.

trust me, if you're helping a friend with top tier MUs because they lack the tournament scene, then you will start to get used to other characters... yoshi sometimes feels very weird to me.... on and off days ftl.

Everybody's quitting Yoshi. :(((

I am actually trying to learn the match-ups for Fox myself.
No worries mate, I'll always be Yoshi. The attitudes of people when (if) you beat them with such a "terrible" character are always good.

Yoshi never feels wierd to me, its those other characters thatare wierd =P
I think its bad to play as a character you can't use to help others learn the MU, as you are not actually providing them with experience of how that character is properly used.
Matchup experience is only valuable if its from someone who plays the character well. Also, everyone knows I'll only ever use Yoshi =)

but what if you lose at dittos because dittos are THE most pointless thing to ever exist? -.-
I completely agree with the above. Dittos FTL.

once you yourself learn a MU, it just takes a little while to get comfortable with that character to provide an least an emulation of how to force the knowledge of a MU into the person you're "tutoring"... you have to at least learn either how to deal with your friend's character, or just how to counter your opponent's styles and habits....

I went to a Tournament on Saturday, pretty much last-minute which is why I didn't post it beforehand. Thank God CIBC accepted the cheque without much hassle.

It was a really good Tournament, lots of tough competition.

And as usual, inb4 Burntsockz and his typical attitude of assuming all Canadian players are scrubs. :yoshi:

Here's the information.

Gj.
(im a **** btw)
I dont think all canadian players are scrubs, i think that its not extremely tough competition and that i could beat most of your region.
and whats wrong with that :D
Ur top players (in your region) im sure are pretty good, thats how it works with almost all regions, that they have a few mad good players, like spain and stuff.

Edit: well right now i wouldnt beat most of your region because i have only mained shiek for like 2 weeks but you know, just cuz i get to practice against top people quite a bit :D
