Why Cant You Beat M2k

Man I just want to see the OC3 finals because I heard PC was a monster at that tournament.

But Mew2King gets a lot of **** for losing, almost can't blame him considering some of what I've read on here and Youtube.

QFT, I use friendlies to get better at certain parts of my game like awesome combos and humiliating last-stock KOs. Playing to win in friendlies is only good if you're completely satisfied with the way you play, otherwise it's a better idea to test new things in non-tournament matches.

but here's the thing I don't get. Why do people want me to lose? some people said it's cuz I won too much, but don't i deserve to win? I haven't even made the money that I should have because of bad luck with random things (half of this comes from Evo World), but whenever I'm at any tourneys people always want the other person to win unless they are friends of mine or from my region. I think that's dumb. I root for who I want to win, but usually say nothing at all, instead of just going with crowd bias.

I rooted for you at pound 3 (wasn't there for the finals though), and georgia. lol. You, and PC Chris are my 2 favorite players for melee.

you work hard, and studied the game a lot (from what I know of) so I believe you deserve to win, plus you are ridiculously good.

I dont get it either, but I agree, I don't think someone gets at the title of best for no reason. I would think you got that title because you worked your *** off to get good at it. And frankly the reason a lot of low level players(No offense) would only want you or other good players to lose is because their jealous.

Sure m2k has won tournies so he can say he is a pro but its not like there are tons of smashers that can beat him. Errr... I didn't see anyone complain about him knowing too much or being too technical. Most people have complaints of him being a **** in person, which is completely true. He isn't a very sociable person, regardless of what he tries to say in defense of himself here. I'm not making fun of him at all, he just really isn't very aware of much going on outside of smash.

I have also been to smash tournaments. Honestly, the more "low level" the tournament, the weirder the kids are. At top level play, the majority of the players are very normal people. I mean, there are some personalities for sure, but the only really weird player at the top IMO is M2K.

Maybe if you had a better alias, you wouldn't mind being called it. Hell, half of my real friends have even started calling me Cactus.

Honestly, **** talking never really bothers me as much as it just distracts me from playing. I can't count the number of times I've gone and played in MD/VA and had some ******* "support" his fellow MD/VAer by sitting next to me and shouting into my ear. I started wearing headphones because of that crap.

And who cares if people call each other by video game aliases? Cactuar's a perfectly normal guy. I talk to him outside of smash and have hung out with him without playing smash bros. I still call him Cactuar, who cares?
