Not much posts about this update. I guess the forum crashed again.

Can't say much about this new move but I feel it will be used to annoy people and end being pretty funny.

I was looking at some of the past post,and wow...just wow. Anyway,this looks pretty cool,I wonder if this causes damage to the person that's being jump on?(probably does,but how much?)

i dunno but i dont tink heavy character like bowser and DK can do it to little character

You guys are absolutely ********, that eathenrogers dude has been faking the whole thing and doing a really bad job of it i might add, and you guys are believing his every word. You guys have been laughing at him, and as i'm reading through the pages i'm the one laughing at the rest of you, and im sure he is too.

Back to the update, it's great to know hes adding completely new game mechanics to add to the depth.

A new way to edgeguard, that is good, hopefully it will be coupled with a new way to get back to the stage, ala SSB -> SSBM airdodge...

More depth anywhere is good by me, and over the edge is where it's at!

this is probablly the coolest How To Play we've had.
i wonder if yoshi is the only onthat can do it. also in melee luigi does this move to mario in one of the fmv's in adventure mode

I'm not sure about everyone else, but in my opinion, the "Footstool Jump" addition is abosultely horrible.

I hope it'll be possible to turn it off, because I just don't like the idea of it. Cheap meteors in the air, a bunch of lag frames on the ground. I really don't like it at all.

Sure it'll add another dimension to Smash Bros, but in my opinion, it's a terrible implementation,

Here's hoping you can turn it off in the options menu.

lol can u turn off counters in street fighter III? can u turn off wavedashing or teching or shffling in ssbm? NO...you cant. ITS PART OF THE GAME NOW. STOP WHINING AND DEAL WITH IT

sumhow i think only Mario Luigi and Yoshi can do it due to their history

There is no way it'll be something you can turn off. And honestly it sounds kinda awesome. to me. Makes Yoshi quite a bit more playable, jump off someones head and then drop on him. Decent combo if you ask me. And the idea makes sense. I just wonder what it means fro rests hit box if you can't go inside people.

I agree that only a few platformer type characters will probably get to use this.
And it doesn't seem bad at all. It's probably very situational and not too powerful, and as long as it isn't available to all characters, there's no harm in it at all.
Offensive wall-jumping. Why the hell not.

Guys all they've done is give everyone a meteor smash, which in my opinion is perfect, and balances the game out A LOT more.

The one gripe I have is when you do it on the ground. It looks kind of fruity and dumb... It could be really annoying too since it looks like you get stunned for a second.

Yeah i was also thinking that (sorry the double post again >.<) But yeah, the stun time after you do it on the ground, makes it more usefull there too. and yeah i aggree with you about this helping too even out players, er, balence
