I doubt he was really listening to you, or anybody specifically. That would be why he responds with a generalization instead of specific points.

Funny how whenever the EC holds a big tournament, you're nowhere to be found... nowhere are you showing yourself as a real threat to the regional scene. You're in the Pennsylvania power rankings, not the EC power rankings. Try leaving your state for a change.

Who's the troll now? I didn't come on these boards for a while. I now see that it has turned to this. This thread is full of arguments first starting with me, and now you're insulting quite possibly the best ROB player out there. If you think you're so great yourself, why don't you prove it and go to a tournament like Doctor X said? And don't try to ask who am I to tell you these things.

So before you say anything again, keep in mind that OS has shown much more intelligence then you have and you can't say anything back.

And I've been to plenty of tourneys in east coast. Gets some facts first, If you haven't noticed from tourney ranks EC > WC. So go crawl back under the rock you came from.

The fact that his intelligence is rivaled by garden tools doesn't help.

I made the WCD on Pit for that week because I noticed the Pit boards were full of pre-teens high fiving each other for doing a flip kick on their skateboard one out of ten times, but when Tony Hawk and his friends dropped in to explain a few things they observed, they just got pissed off and kept doing flip kicks.

You guys and your mid-level ego problems... You didn't beat anybody from the WC. The top EC players did. They are *not* you. They are better than you. Going to a tourney in M2K's homestate doesn't put you on their level, least of all if M2K doesn't show up.

Idk where this came from and if this is based off of the vid you posted, its untrue. Rogue is a great Pit and one online wifi match should not judge how skilled his Pit is. Sorry if I misunderstood your comment.

And he is right again, its good that we are all friends but it can get in the way of getting better, noone like tell there friend that they suck so they never hear if they do something wrong. Thats what happens here alot of the time, and even though we are still buddies we also need to tell each other and come up with ideas to inprove Pit.

Yea. Its not because we defend the ATs, its because we get tyrants from other places saying what they want to say without listening to us. Common Situations include:

-"They are just tricks and are useless"
No they are not. We respond by saying how they are useful. Their response? "..........they are useless"

-"If it works for you fine, but its basics over ATs"
Ya. We know. We acknowledge your statement and have been telling ppl that. Their response? "Basics over ATs"

So basically, they make these statements without backing it up or providing reason. We do provide examples why they work and its ignored instead of them addressing our points and having a serious discussion. Instead, they point out the faults in someone elses post to further prove they are "right" instead of addressing those who want to talk about it.

Here is a hint....listen to the people because we certainly listen to you!!!

Actually i do compete with the best of EC, i see m2k at every single tourney i attend. I had to play Azen and Chillin in a doubles match, and i've played m2k several times, and chilled with ninjalink.
Also i like the shtick, and if you have to know, my account isnt very old, little younger than brawl is, i heard of M2k and Ken from other people, because they were that good, not on boards, where you seek recognization for being a friend of some in BR. And notice your still on his nuts, As i said before the conversation had nothing to do with you until you added your half a sense into it. Go back to playing friendlies with OS so he can make another pit review on how bad you do.
Now this this whole entire argument is getting old, I'll just end it on my part by saying one thing. Come to EC and MM me if you think your so hot. If not than just shut up... dam

But Demon that is the problem, they are explaining that with other legit reasons on why " HE SHOULD RECONSIDER" his summary on pit, but he won't listen, apparently he knows way more than any of us about our characters. But don't worry about it anymore, as i said his review is only accepted by the ignorant, it won't change us but it will show us how OS really is. So let's leave this thread alone,

Yea, like, so OS didnt main Pit from the very beginning (like some members here) he didnt contribute during the experimentation phase (like some of of here) and he hasn't been there figuring out and trying out how things work during the time of the ATs (like some members here) yet he apparently knows "way more than us" about our character that we main.

I think you guys are being a bit harsh on overswarm.

This thread was originally made from the weekly character discussion. You know the thing they do every week where the backroom gives a brief summary of a character. The only pit in the backroom is underdog and he wasn't around for the discussion so someone had to summarize it. Basically OS just summarized the backrooms feelings on pit (although I admit with considerable personal bias mostly due to lack of participation from other backroom members it seemed).

Maybe they are wrong but I think we are going about replying to it wrong. Most people seem to be replying with the mentality that overswarm randomly came to the pit boards posted a few harsh lines then left. The orginal point of this thread was simply to show how the backroom feels about pit.

I should note I've only skimmed this thread so I may have missed something.

OS hasn't played against me 1v1 in about... 2 months? >.>

And I don't know what he's basing his opinion off of, really, because I've kept up with him pretty well most of those times that I have played him. My tournament placings haven't been so great, but that's for far different reasons than he seems to think-- notably that until WTON I've had a problem with buckling under pressure and making some *really* stupid moves (i.e. self destructs, letting myself be gimped or thrown off of walk-offs, etc). I'd have done it with any character equally as badly as I've done with Pit. Ask Bloodhawk. I picked MK against him and lost stocks in the same mind-numbingly stupid ways. Less to do with the character and more to do with me, in the words of Sliq, "being a total ****head" at the worst possible times. -,-

Problem is OS is so interested in being this font of good ideas that everyone else feeds from that he decided he could tell me *exactly* what I'm doing wrong with absolute certainty... this was maybe three months ago? I told him what I thought, and it's exactly the same things you guys are saying now, and he didn't listen then. He just kind of let the argument die out, only to bring it back in this much more public format.

And Rogue... seriously... Seeing M2K and Chillin and all them in person doesn't mean you can "compete" with them. Maybe in the literal, physical sense of the word, but not in the sense I mean. Coming very close to beating any of them in a real tournament set or placing around their level in the EC circuit would be "competing" with them. I *know* you haven't done the latter, and I seriously doubt the former.

I'll MM anytime I'm in the EC, btw. I told you this a long time ago when you were still posting under Sir Lucario and generally acting like a scrub. Right now you've not changed much. Maybe you got better at the game but that doesn't excuse your behavior.

As for "being on OS's nuts," recognizing his accomplishments is that absolute *least* I or anybody else, including you, owes to him. You and I may not agree with him but he's won upwards of 15 tournaments and placed among the top players in his region-- people from five or six different states-- consistently. I think 9th is the worst he's ever done. If you don't think that's worthy of not being ****-talked at by people who can't nearly say the same, then you've got some seriously messed up values. If anybody needs to man the **** up here, it's you.
